I feel like every time I see a movie I really enjoy I go on GAF to read other hot takes and there's an overwhelming sense of "this was boring and terrible, we walked out"
Opinions and all, sure, but it's always a weird disconnect. There's plenty of people you can disregard like "hey check out this Red Letter Media video, TOTALLY sums up my thoughts" but still. I like reading discussion and it's like "oh....we all hated this? oh. alright"

when wwf emailed me their new £0.99 for one month of network gimmick, they emphasised that would include THREE ppvs (NM, HIAC, TLC)
It's crazy. You run so many ppvs, at some point they don't feel special anymore. I think they've passed that point

Juice is great.
Gedo is an great judge of talent. He was apparently pushing Okada when a lot of people didn't think he was that amazing, and he was just starting to push Juice last year when I started watching NJPW in early 2016, and I personally thought Juice was pretty boring back then.
Only guys he pushes that I'm cold on are GoD, Fale and YOSHI HASHI, and none of them are pushed hard and aren't exactly bad

Everything from Beretta/Takahashi onwards was good, but only Omega/Juice was great.
There are probably worse
I saw a local show years ago where one of the guests was Nikolai Volkoff and the dude could barely throw a punch
rest of the card was random tags so I didn't watch yet.

So nothing's changed then
They had the HW tag championship again, so there was one other title match.
I think they should split the roster in two next year. It's a bit thin for three shows, even with the NJPW roster as big as it is.
Also some quick notes about the nxt show I saw last night
Like I said before Gargano vs Raul Mendoza was amazing and Mendoza deserves a push
Sanity vs Undisputed Era was fun and predictably ridiculous
Women's matches were disappointing. Kairi's match was fairly one sided, but I did see a sweet elbow drop and it was heartwarming to see Kairi tearfully thanking the crowd for the happy birthday chants.
The Street Profits are really talented and really funny, I can see them going places
Main match was McIntyre vs Cien, was fine if predictable.
No Ember Moon or Aleister Black even though they were advertised, I think they were both at the Orlando house show the same day.
Pretty good card but I expected more from the women's side. Ah well.
