It would have made little difference since Tien, Goku and Vegetables saved the day anyway

Would rather Piccolo, Gohan and Tien keep their roles. Switch Goku and Vegeta with 17 and 18.
Just do that 90% of the times Goku's in an episode, switch him with 17.

Looks like Vegeta is still dominating at 6 KOs and 3 Assists, and now the next closest is Freeza with 4 KOs and (of course) 0 assists.
U7 has the most KOs with 32(!!!)
U6 has the next with 12
U2 has 3
U9 & 11 have 1 each.
No one else has a KO.
All the universes think Goku is this big threat but it looks like Vegeta is the one putting in the most work.

I knew the number was absurd but this really puts it into perspective. What's the point of a battle royale if everyone outside of 6 and 7 isn't doing a thing.
Writers not being able to spread the action for everyone. I hope that after this Goku, Vegeta and Gohan focus on a single opponent each and the rest have more time to fight the remaining fighters, along with some much needed screen time.
In hindsight, 98 was a mistake.
One universe being completely wiped by U7 in one episoee, when U9 could have been taken out by multiple universes attacking them.
In general a battle royale was a mistake, but it's been handled better than I thought it would.
You're looking at this the absolute wrong way.

My preference is clear. Last year it would have been a 2 men team with the same results and you know it.

Now that the Frieza/Frost thing has been played out it feels like they are just going to play this tournament straight. No "I'm going to poke you in the side to steal your energy", or anything like that.

Really? I think it's been handled a lot worse than I expected. I was hoping for massive brawls with other universes actually pulling their weight instead of U7 cleaning house.
I know its still not the meat of the arc so I can still end up really liking it overall if the ending is good. But atm its been kinda meh.

In all fairness to U7, most of these fights were not picked by U7. It's U7 being targeted by combatants from other universes. Using Roshi as an example, he's just strolling along and 3 different enemies pick a fight with him.

I thought a bit about how Frost got played and ended up being erased. It was probably Freeza's plan all along. He's testing how far he can manipulate gods, and Zeno in particular. Imagine if he somehow gets to be "Zeno's second friend"?

Golden is cool, but I just love the DYEL look for Full Power. Plus his transformation is badass.
