Good. Now give us single payer like every other country on earth. Americans should not be paying huge ass amounts to go see the doctor.

I remain scared that eventually they'll ram something through, but this is a great victory. Be nice if we had a government dedicated to improving the flawed system we have instead of actively trying to make it worse.

Well guess I can take a breath of relief, at least until they try this shit again soon. Trump is going to make his presidency about this, period.

I earned 100 Gamerscore™ for collecting 300 widgets and thereby created Trump's America
Lol. They own the entire federal government and their policies are so shit they can't get anything done.

I'm not. I could absolutely accept this level of winning for as long as Trump is in office.

sorry i forgot to add the /s

I'm not a big drinker, but the day this bum is dragged out of the oval office(or better yet him and his whole family is put in jail) will be a day I spend drinking all day

So, this is it as far as trying to pass it through reconciliation rules, right? As I read it originally, from this point forward, they'll need 60 votes to get anything similar through.

Maybe the GOP can take this opportunity to do what they're advocating the rest of the country do, and fuck off and die. Or maybe they can use this as a chance to do some soul-searching and recognize the inherent flaws with prioritizing money over human lives. Probably not though.

WHOMP WHOMP WHOMMMMP

I hope y'all watched that Debate on CNN last night. Democrats beat the living shit out of both Graham and Cassidy on the stage. It was delightful! And it was wasted time for them to try and pedal their shitty bill while lying to constituents faces.

what is the gop even doing? Are they trying to pass legislation? Or are the just making it seem like they are doing work so they don't get yelled at or fired. Not that I am complaining.

That debate last night was something. Glad that I learned Cassidy was a doctor for the umpteenth time!

Unless he goads Mitch into nuking the filibuster. Or more likely, they shitcan Mitch and replace him with someone stupid enough to nuke the filibuster.
