That's interesting, wonder why they did that. And they're right to be angry as they were lied to there were many who would've waited and bought on PC too if they didn't lie about the fake exclusivity which prompted some people to buy it not on their preferred platform

Lying about exclusivity, with regards to Nier and Nioh, reflects extremely poorly on Sony.
Even then you can totally play early gen stuff like kilzone shadowfall on pc nowadays too lol

TBH I don't really understand the China's outrage over the exclusivity logo. For me, I always thought Nioh is exclusive as well but I'm beyond excited it's coming to PC too because that m,eans more people can enjoy such a great game, and PC allows some fun with modding and su=tuff.

If it was uploaded on SteamDB over a year ago, it means i was always been developed with PC in mind.
Whether it was Sony that said to not talk about it or K-T. Who knows?
The same happened with FFX-X2 though. The app on Steam was already finished (the PC port) at the same time the Remaster on PS4 came out. The question then was "Why didnt S-E release it at the same time as the PC-version". It either might be to hope for double-dippers or because they have a contract with Sony. Who knows what really happened.

Has the Complete Edition on PS4 been made available for purchase anywhere? I'd rather own physically but the game plus Season Pass is currently £31.99 on EU PSN and am tempted to buy.

It's not out until Nov/Dec. The current deal happening on the UK/EU PSN store is essentially the Complete Edition at a price much lower than what the Complete Edition will eventually be sold for.
Also, UK/EU isn't getting a physical edition so you might as well pounce on it now.

The Complete edition will go on sale for full digital price (£54.99) when it releases, which is a ridiculous price anyway. Dont expect it to go on sale very quick after that. Your best bet would be to buy the Deluxe now, as you arent missing out on any content.

You guys are annoying with this exclusive shit. It was never a PlayStation IP. They only published the game outside of Japan to bring more awareness to it. Koei Tecmo owns Nioh. The only exclusivity promise was probably the fact that it will remain only on the PS4 & will not release on the Xbox One or Switch. Other than that, PC is fair game. What's so wrong with the game releasing on PC? How does it personally affect your life? Are you losing sleep over this?
