The production is in a much, much better place now than it was back then, it's pretty crazy to go back and forth between the dub and sub.
The show still has plenty of room for improvement too, I'm excited to see what the next arc looks like.

The dude's as powerful as the writers want him to be.
I'm mostly hoping to see some great animation like the Vegito Blue vs Zamasu fight from the Future Trunks arc.

It's far more of a big deal than you think. It's a monstrously huge speed boost due to the fact that you are no longer limited by needing your brain to process something before your body goes ahead and does it. This is why Whis was able to literally sign both Goku and Vegeta's gi without them even noticing mid combat. Not saying Goku will reach that level, but it's a very, very big upgrade.
It isn't just something that will greatly enhance Goku's threat perception and response time, it's also something that will increase his combat power literally night and day compared to where it is at the moment. And if Goku's speed is increasing a significant degree due to his ability to have his various body parts think and react independently of one another, it also means that Goku's physically power is going to greatly increase as well. What's more, we don't know that Goku's saiyan body has somehow undergone an even further transformation to adapt to this new self movement power. so, I really wouldn't underestimate Goku's power in his new form. He may only be down and out for a bit due to the fact that he had already sustained heavy damage, but what might occur once he heals (you know what happens once saiyans heal from severe damage), and is back at it again in a serious way?
He may even undergo an even more complete transformation later after he's had adequate time to heal. I wouldn't underestimate the new power Goku has acquired only because it doesn't sound like much. All one really has to do is look at what it has made Whis capable of. Does it mean Goku will master it to that same degree, or will have Whis degree of power? No, but Goku is on the verge of acquiring something that even Beerus himself hasn't fully mastered. It doesn't mean Goku will somehow have it instantly mastered either, but this is a major step for Goku.

And it was also heavily foreshadowed back when Whis was training Vegeta and Goku. He said Goku's tendency to relax too much and become way too overconfident that he drops his guard is his major drawback and weakness.
So this is quite good of the writing team to bring all that back in the way that they have.

Marcarita, Dyspo, Society Survival Vegeta (suit and tie) and SSJ4 Time Patrol Goku are coming to Heroes.
