Games you remember, names you don't

I know this isn't much to work with, but...I have this weird memory of an Amiga game. Sidescrolling with vehicles, and I have an image of there being a bridge. Super obscure, I know.

Also, separate game, but there was also an Amiga racing game where you could drive big trucks (no trailers) and you'd get the view of the back of them. Any ideas?

Try Battle Valley and Hurricane Commando for the first.

The second is probably Drivin' Force.

A PS2 near launch shooter/horror title that played out in either Antartica or Alaska where you had to fight back aliens.

Edit: Extermination. Never mind!

Okay here's one I can't figure out.

Top down / overhead scrolling shmup in arcades, from 1985 or 1986. Space ship over land areas, powerups add on to your ship, making it bigger and different in design.

I've kept looking for my Boulder Dash-y game myself and I simply can't find it.
I've gone through this list and it's not on there :(

Nope :(

Starting to feel like I must have imagined everything :p

Not sure if you figured it out yet, but Dot Valley? 1992 DOS game.

Either Terra Cresta or Ufo Robo Dangar.

Edit: could also be Slap Fight to an extent, or Finalizer

There's this game that my cousin let me play where I can ride roller skates. Unfortunately it's the only thing I remember but I recall having fun with the game.

Some additional info would be that my cousin gave me a controller with analog sticks because it requires you to use them iirc. It's a PSX game.

Hmmm, there are several games that feature rollerblading.
Maybe ESPN Xtreme Games or its sequel 2Xtreme?

I don't think it's a sports game. It just features roller blading as one of it's way of movement.

I should also mention that it's cartoonish in look.

Edit: I think it's also a platformer and you can collect "coins". I put it in quotation cause it may be some other form of currency like gems or whatever.

One of the Jet Set Radio games? (AKA Jet Grind Radio?)

Is it third person?

Perhaps Rocket Power? There are other extreme sports too, but as you can see in the video, roller skates feature prominently.

I sort of remember seeing a trailer of a man and a woman running around in a field with a wolf. In one scene they swam past a giant skeleton. And the woman can become huge?
I might be mixing some things up here. Any ideas?

WiLD? Not out yet.
It's supposed to come out on PS4 and from Wild Sheep Studio.

I suddenly remembered a game I played in a motel nearly three decades ago. Details are a bit hazy, but I know it's a mid-to-late eighties (single screen?) platform game and I think the protagonist was a kangaroo (and no, the game wasn't Atari's Kangaroo, if you were wondering) and green (or black, I'm not sure) blob-like enemies had to be avoided.

I also remember the colours gray and green being quite prevalent in this game. Perhaps everything took place in a factory or spaceship, which would explain the gray (metallic) colour scheme.

It also might've been possible to enter doors and/or use elevators, but I'm not so sure about that.

Anybody got a clue about this one?
After nearly eighteen months I've finally cracked this one because I accidentally stumbled upon it while browsing KLOV (The Killer List Of Video Games). The Glob was the game I was thinking of!

I can't blame anyone for not guessing it, because my description was riddled with errors. I thought the player controlled some kind of kangaroo (there are animals present, but they're all enemies and none of them look like kangaroos) and I believed the Glob to be the antagonist instead of the hero. I also got his colour wrong. The only thing I was correct about was the presence of elevators.

That's what you get for only looking at the attract mode of a game instead of playing it...

There was this old game that had you swinging from what looked like line to line like Tarzan, there were clowns and similar things as if the setting was a circus. Anybody else remember that?

Not so much info here - pretty old game, 2D platformer with 2 wizards in a dungeon. You could play it with 2 player co-op on the same keyboard and it had loads of cheats.

Hocus Pocus maybe? Though I don't know if that had 2 player.

I'm looking for a game that looked like it was done in an RPG Maker (Those sprite based engines), you were some kind of space marine and you were fighting bugs. You could also get power ups I think and throw grenades.
Basically 2D top down Starship troopers.
It was possible to play it with two people on the same pc.

Not sure if it helps, but I remember the website of the developer being dark (like literally mostly just black) and the name being, something something moon or shadow.

Also it was on a Screenfun magazine disc. But that might have been a german thing.

EDIT: Abort, I just found it... http://www.freeindiegam.es/2012/10/triumph-war-2099-anthony-lopes/
I initially thought it would be more difficult to find it by looking online for that old magazine, but I found it pretty quickly.

I remember playing this PS1 game when I was a kid. I don't really remember the premise because it was a Japanese anime game. All i remember is that it was a beat em up game, and you can select 4 characters for the main story. I also remember one of the characters had a red jacket, the other had long white hair and a vest, and uses kicks while he has his hands inside his pockets.

I've been lurking for this game for now a year and a half, seriously trying to remember.

Edit: It's Crisis Beat, thanks you guys!

Sounds like Crisis Beat.
It's on PSN for PS3/PSP/Vita.

I remember reading about this game once in another forum, it's a JRPG about Dragons that has never been translated, on the cover there's a blue dragon and a boy "piloting" it, but the dragons looked more like velociraptors than actual dragons. It's a very unknown game, I never heard or read anyone commenting about it ever since and I forgot its name. But I'm quite certain it's a PS2 JRPG about dragons-dinosaurs.
You sure you aren't talking about Blue Dragon for the 360? lol.

Idk if this was a game or demo but I'll narrow it down:

- Third-Person
- Adventure?
- Character was male with blue or black jogging pants (Johnny Cage? Shadow Man?)
- 90% sure it was N64/PS1 era
- In one scene you were running through a maze of black pillars with huge fans on the back wall

Nothing really.

Forever, it was the Adventures of Dino Riki (NES), and Faxanadu (NES), but the Internet has since filled the gaps in my flawed human memory.

Speaking of which, both have catchy AF music.

A trailer for a 2D platformer pixel art indie game that may or may not have been released yet.

Protagonist: "Don't touch her!"
Antagonist: "I'll touch what I like"

Then the boss fight starts, and the bad guy is using drills to tunnel around the underground arena.

Not quite. I don't remember the sci-fi tone, it was more grounded. The part in the desert area of ONE stood out with the way the background scrolled while the character moved in 3D space. The game I mentioned did that in the scene. The area is surrounded by the grey walls and the black pillars are taller but I made them short for illustration. I'm beginning to think this game may have been a vivid dream of me playing this "game" lmao.

Hm, I had two of which I've been trying to figure out, one turned out to be Ghosthunter for PS2. But I can't remember the other game's title no matter how hard I try.
I'd say it's Asian made as the whole game screamed it from cover art to art direction. It's a 3rd person game. The gameworld always (as far as I remember) had this "as if in a dream" hazy bloom effect in combination with Castlevania-ish type of looking medieval castle levels. You play as a female Samurai or something similar. Actual gameplay shared similarity to Prince of Persia 2008. Jumping from platform to platform ie PoP style, slashing enemies away with a long katana and even some special magical powers. I've got no clue what it's called...

There's so much stuff fitting the bill more or less. Might be Nightshade/Kunoichi or Red Ninja: End of Honor. There seems to be a bit of bloom going on in the latter. Then there's Bujingai featuring a hero with makeup that might be mistaken for a girl. Setting is post-apocalyptic but with occasional temples and stuff mixed in. Kya: Dark Lineage is from a french dev team going for anime aesthetics with rather fantastic environments. Or it could be Crimson Tears despite the modern setting.

Genesis/Mega Drive game, (Japanese?) box art was a centaur/horse man thing which you controlled, colours wise I'm thinking light shades of yellow/green in the background. It was a 2D side scrolling actiony thing but I'm struggling to remember anything about it, maybe an orb somewhere? And I feel like there was a Medusa as a boss.

That's most probably Saint Sword.

Nice! It was Bujingai: Swordmaster! It's been so long since I played it so I ended up mixing things up in the description but yes, Bujingai it is! At times I had the title just at the tip of my tongue but never recalled it. Now seeing your post mentioning the title I recognized it right away, thanks.

I've asked this long ago but I'm not sure I ever got an answer - it was some old Pac-Man-esque game where you collect coloured keys. May have been on DOS. It's been bothering me for YEARS.
