People are only asking for 3, Beerus, Black, and Hit. 2 if you don't want to count Beerus even though he's still apart of the whole new age DB revival.

People think because we talk about characters like Caulifla or Jiren it means we are obviously demanding they be in the base roster.

Nappa being in is awesome. Psyched to try him out.

In Story Mode, an event occurs in which the Super Warriors fall one after the other. When Goku awakens, the spirit of the player will be linked to him. In this way, the story will develop by linking characters with the player’s spirit. In the Android Chapter, for example, the spirit of the player is linked with Android 18. And in the Enemy Warriors Chapter, the spirit of the player is linked with Frieza.

You can also deepen your bonds with characters. If your bonds are deep enough, you will be able to hear private conversations, such as Yamcha saying, “I want to get married!” or Vegeta saying, “Bulma has a nasty personality…”

This actually sounds really cool and is hopefully a little more freeform than your more modern "2 hour movie where you play the fights" story mode. I like it in Injustice and MK, but I don't think every fighter needs to do it that way.

Lmao this, even if Super didn't exist, I'd still have several characters I'd prefer over Nappa, but I guess people actually realizing that makes it harder to generalize huh...

Virtually no one here expects them to make it in if you actually paid attention, we just discuss it as potential DLC choices, or debate whether Black would be attached to Zamasu or not.

No one's acting as if it's offensive from what I can see but we're saying those Super characters don't come above legacy Z characters. You've got people saying that Nappa, one of DB's iconic villains (the guy killed numerous characters and had an impact on the story) is useless and shouldn't be in the game compared to some Super characters who haven't even done a fraction nor had the impact as him. That right there is ridiculous. Same with Ginyu. Like, it's as if people forget who these legacy characters are. They're important to the series and their importance goes above a great amount of Super characters.

Exactly my problem with it. Sure, most think only Beerus, Hit and Black should be in the game but one thing I noticed is very few mentioned Nappa and Ginyu. Like...

Here's the official thread for this game, look at the first page and look at people's predictions. See how many people mention Nappa and Ginyu. Like, come on now. There are legacy characters.

Good picks. Still need Mystic Gohan, Gotenks and Kid Buu to properly finish up Z though. Hopefully they announce them next and then get to the rest of the wild cards.

Important is not a word I would use to describe Nappa. He's become a fan favorite for reasons not actually connected to the series itself.

I'm always up for more Milky Cannon, though.

No one thinks any of the first 3 people have a real chance of being in the base roster, they've just showed up. Zamasu is talked about as an assist for Black, and MZ as a possible final boss unplayable character or using him instead of Black.(much more rare as everyone knows Black is the iconic one)

And Frost? All of 2 people?

There's a difference between people talking about how they like a character and clamouring for them all to be in the base roster.

I have no attachment to anything in that show. I think a lot of the designs look lazy. The animation looks poor. Gokus personality has completely changed. And the entire show is much more kid friendly now.

The amount of people who fell to Nappa was unheard of at that time let alone the fact that Vegeta didn't step in. That's far more than we can say towards someone like a Hit. Nappa's just dope. If people don't like him, they don't have to like him but he did a great amount ofr that small amount of time he was in.

Ok so he killed some dudes. That still doesn’t make him interesting. Tambourine was the first person to kill a major character but I don’t see his fan club.

For someone calling people "jerks" just a post ago, you're the one sounding like one right now. You think he's boring but I, and many others, love Nappa and highly disagree. Nappa's done far more than a great amount of characters let alone when he he did it. Tambourine didn't have all the good guys (minus one) whipped like that. The fact you thinking him killing people doesn't matter? Ok. Many others think characters who not only did damage to major characters but killed them are important to stories. If you disagree and are only going by what you think is interesting so be it but there's clearly a reason why Nappa's in the game and it's not just his size given we have Recoome and many others for that. He's here due to who he is, what he's done and his look as a whole. That's what he brings to the table.

You don't want Nappa? You don't have to play him. For those who love his addition and predicted it? Props to us.

I'm glad that these two got in, but it's odd they got confirmed before some people like Gotenks, Beerus and Super or Kid Buu.

I don't really believe in wasted character slots but I'd want those three in over these two.

The whole city they landed in, Yamcha via Saibamen (an indirect kill but a kill none the less), punched Tien's arm off and proceded to be the cause of Chiaotzu's suicide and Tiens follow up attack which cost him his life. Then killed Piccolo after he saved Gohan.

I consider him a villain on par with Frieza, he was evil, terrifying and a true threat, whilst his power was relevant.

Same in regards to thinking we'd be focusing on the Buu Saga right about now. Like I know we needed a bulky character, so that's whatever, but all this talk about Nappa being super iconic just ain't resonating with me at all lol

Nappa unlike a lot of villains got shit done. There's a reason he's in the game. He's a great addition if I do say so myself.
