If you are talking having the ability to change sex / gender at will, then I would take it, because I am a curious person. It would also help me understand what gender even is. If you are just talking "would you like to have an operative change to your body to make you appear female" then no. I doubt my wife would find that all too great, I see not advantage in such a change, but a lot of risks and a huge cost involved. Basically no reason at all to do this, it would not even give me the opportunity to experience the differences between sexes (and genders), so there is absolutely no positive at all from my perspective in doing this.

I’ve often imagined it and wanted to try it - but I am also happy with what I am and most likely would not change if given the choice.

Part of the reason non-trans people idolize other sexes is because they are able to perceive it only through its positives. The fantasy version of being male or being female is sometimes appealing because it’s different and a little strange to imagine being it. But actually becoming the opposite sex and magically turning male or female would lose its luster very quickly as the reality of the other body is less interesting than the fantasy.

I never felt like I should be something different than I was born. But there have been times it was fun to think about, mainly to subvert gender constructs.

I've had that thought before and I came to the conclusion I'm a cis male but I wouldn't mind being viewed as cute. But I'm also confortable with my own body, and honestly I don't think I have what it takes to go through what women go through.

However for what it's worth I always play my games as women when given the opportunity, couldn't really tell you why.

seeing how terrible was being gay up until the late 90's, I'd probably have said yes in me late teens just to make things easier for me in the future in terms of building up something substantial with someone else and to not disappoint my family.
