Are men allowed to be pretty?

By "pretty" I mean like be feminine , wear dresses etc? I mean speaking as they still identify as a guy and their orientation has no baring on anything.

I made like thread about gender/sex but it stood out to me that some had reservations when it came to doing certain things.

Is there something inherently wrong with doing as you please? Or would it come with a lot of backlash?

We're not even allowed to be beautiful, according to Grammarly.

The drilling on my head over 3 decades that men are not supposed to be "pretty" pretty much resulted on my selfsteem issues since i can't think of myself as anything but ugly.

I say no, not in the west at least.

It's like, i have been watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow lately, and Mick often calls Steel "pretty boy" meant as an insult, it's still engraved in our daily lives and society.

They are allowed to be but certain groups will judge and/or hate them for it.

I don't think I want to wear dresses but I do sometimes wish I could wear more outrageous clothing. I don't think I have the confidence to pull it off. Day-to-day men's clothing is somewhat dull outside of a nice suit.

I do have pretty eyelashes though. Or so I have been told. They make women jealous.

if women want to bang you while wearing a dress, then i don't see why not

problem is women don't want to bang a man wearing a dress

there are plenty of women who will bang feminine guys though, up to a certain threshold

No, it's you misreading what I wrote
Being a pretty man would come with loads of backlash.
And being a pretty man shouldn't come with loads of backlash.
I was referring to

I would come with load of backlash.

Thought you may have also meant..cum..lol

There was room in the subject line to say those things that you were talking about. "pretty" is not defined that way, and so clarity would have been useful.

And "pretty" definitely isn't defined as "if women want to bang you" either.

Forward-quoting from a later post:

If Kate Upton told me the only way she would have sex with me is if I wore a dress I would put that damn dress on.

Why is this being framed as "if [x] would have sex with me"?

If Kate Upton told me the only way she would have sex with me is if I wore a dress I would put that damn dress on.

That's if I was single, of course.

You can do whatever you want. Just be prepared for unfavorable remarks.

Society has made "rules" that say men wear pants and women wear dresses.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

Feeling pretty is in not 100% attributed to someone wanting to bang you.

Also, there are women out there that would have sex with a man wearing a dress.

They can do it, but it's generally frowned upon. They'll probably be seen a mentally unstable or attempting a joke. It's not right, but I believe it's the case.

Women don't really have the same restrictions. Outside of having facial hair, or exposing your bare chest, I can't really think of anything a women isn't "allowed" to wear. But that level of acceptance was fought for.
