But don't you get it, its characters from Titles who are fighting. The best winner is from the best "title" hence title fight. Its a double entendre, and absolutely genius

Yeah but according to the links and teases, it's already been placed in the menus and UI assets in the game. It seems to be the title they're going with at the moment, and that's scary because a name like that is doing an awesome concept a huge injustice, especially with such a magnificent alternative RIGHT HERE. It's like if smash bros. was called Working Title.

Title Fight is a horrific name. I don't like Playstation Battle Opera either, it's too long in the mouth. Sony Battle Opera is way better.

I've completely changed my mind about 3rd party characters. I think a first outing should really only use SCE properties only. It's a bad look if a game designed to celebrate your brand is filled with characters found on the competition's hardware.

Im all for quirky humor and fun but it has to be logical. Bringing real life characters doesnt make sense.

I'll shit rage if most characters will use guns in some way too. There needs to be variety in skills and abilities to make the fun lasting.

Ive been thinking wouldnt it be kinda awesome if Radec could summon one of those Airships, warships or blimps seen in the end of KZ2 as a level 3 super.

I think it would be cool if it was like Fat Princess. 3D but third person fixed POV. That would differentiate it enough, while allowing for some awesome themed maps from various games.

Yeah, it does say that X is jump which would lend itself to some 3D element. That and the colored rings/circles to designate players.

Alundra

Arc the Lad

Wild Arms

Siren - Playable Shibito


I think we will have a better chance of seeing 3rd party characters like Cloud and Snake over any of the ones mentioned.

It would just work soo well. And nearly every franchise they have takes place on a 3D field. Actually, I'm having trouble even thinking of one that is exclusively 2D only! Please I hope they had the guts to make it a Power Stone-esque game.

Guys your expectatives are way too high. In the source it says that the game will have 20(+/-) characters. And already were "confirmed":

- Kratos
- Drake
- Parappa
- Sweet Tooth
- Radec
- Sly
- Fat-Princess
- Scorpion (at least that's what Boon said)
12 more to go.

- Ratchet & Clank
- Jak & Daxter
- Cole McGrath

And you have 9 left.

I don't know/remember most of Sony franchises. But at least 4 or 5 of those 9 left, are going to be third party.

Sounds like a real sausage fest. I'm hoping Ellen from Folklore makes it in as a left-field choice.
