Takao, what do you think of Toronto, Canada in general? I had plans to move there after finishing college but I have no idea of how is the economy, jobs situation and specially how open you are to someone from another country.

I like to think of my home as a pretty nice place to live. Though, the current mayor is far from our shinning moment. He's actually quite embarrassing... It's like any large city where your money situation will depend on your job, and depending on your career the job market can be fierce due to the size of the city. Housing cost options don't seem to be the greatest, but I wouldn't be an expert on that as I haven't been in the market. As for openness to foreigners, the city's actually quite multi-cultural and has no problems accepting people from all different walks of life.
Man, this has to be the shittiest New Years in recent memory. Currently 8pm, cold as fuck, been raining all day, and I have no plans (yet)
The only plans I had got crushed...All my friends are going out and Im stuck alone :/

Thanks, that's good to hear. I'll definitely inform myself more about how hard will be for me to get a good job in my area but it's great to have an opinion from someone who lives there.
