Want them to add -swap and a concede button.
What does -swap mean? Like swap teammates with the opposing side?
In Dota 1, can you swap in All Pick? So you can random, then give the hero to someone who can play them?

They're fake you guys move along
The action figures are great! Sad to hear they are fake. Give me at least a Pudge plush doll and I will be stoked.
Lich (press R and stuff dies)
Riki (permanently invis, 'nuff said)
Antimage (pretty much plays himself)
Skeleton King for sure, Sniper is really easy too and you (should) barely die since you're on a long distance most of the time.
Omniknight is a pretty easy support hero, but you need to know what to buy though and what your skills do exactly (though that counts for all heroes)
No. I've had enough of noob sa "scouting"
Nor is AM or any hard carry.i agree SA is definitely not a hero for someone new
storm surge isn't to bad as long as you have mana management. and arn't up against pudgeNor is AM or any hard carry.
Just play Lich for your first 30 games. Learn to ward so you while you feed, you aren't totally useless.
Then play Tidehunter and keep warding and let your team know when your ult is up and have someone tell you went to use it.
Don't play any heroes from Agility or any characters from Int who aren't Lich for your first 50 games. Always buy the Courier or buy wards. And buy (and place) Observer Wards all game, every game.
Is there going to be a patch when the servers come back on?
oh you also forgot invoker. great noob friendly hero.If a newbie wants to try out a carry-ish hero, I highly recommend trying out Viper. Ultimately play whoever appeals to you, but if things aren't working out, revert back to the easier heroes like Lich, Venomancer, Tide, and Viper. And play easy bot games to get a grasp on the basic fundamentals of the game.
Personally I think every new person should start out playing CHEN, easy to use Ultimate, easy slow, easy nuke, and he can send his friends back to base to heal, he's the easiest hero I think.oh you also forgot invoker. great noob friendly hero.
I don't agree with this. I'm very new and I got the hang of things playing with Zeus and Storm. YouTube tutorials and item build guides are really all anyone needs...and they can pick the character they're interested in and go from there. Then you just practice.
Having someone play Lich for 30 games (!) ensures they don't know anything about some of the most basic concepts of the game (like farming) and ensures for the first 15 game hours, they have very little fun.
It's not necessary. You can learn what you need to know with the characters you want to learn to play.
All you new guys, just play CHEN, that and he's the only black hero, which automatically makes him awesome.

dragon knight is pissed at you now
Expectations for a player on Storm or Zeus are way higher than Lich or Tidehunter. Those expectations are lessened or adjusted when that player slings Wards around too.
I'd way rather have a new player on a simple character, slinging Wards, that's how I started. Even if you suck (and new players all will), you're still adding value while you feed, rather than just feeding.
If you're (indefinite case, not Dreams-Visions) just going to go in solo, I guess, pick whoever and get yelled at, quit and come here and complain about the community. But if you're starting out and want to be valuable to your team from the beginning, pick an item agnostic support, and learn to Ward.
I find that Vengeful Spirit is a good hero to start off with. Simple skills and does not require crazy items to be effective.

riki is a great noob hero. you can easily get a feel for the map without worry of getting noticed. but the enemy team will find you eventually so you have to stay on your guard.
Until you swap the wrong person, and everyone hates you.

DK is black? Wtf he's white isn't he?dragon knight is pissed at you now
No see you don't get the creeps, you just lane him! Easiest hero.Nah. Starting with Chen is bad idea, IMO. A beginner would find themselves overwhelmed with trying to keep up with and manage all the little creeps you need to make him effective. So focused on that, the other aspects of the game get missed.
Then you will never play VS ever again.Until you swap the wrong person, and everyone hates you.

Hey Lich why did you waste ulti!? You'll fuck up with any hero. Venge is a fine starter hero.
