Physical card is faster than DD
I agree, though I wouldn't mind having FFX on DD, where I can access it anytime I want.

we all know square. release DD in japan. physical only in NA/EU. blame it on Sony.

Seriously though, I hope they do release it DD <3 hopefully the loading times won't be affected as much :\
All vita games must have DD version too. That's in the software developer license.

I just wish someone at Target nearby had a clue. I just tried to find out if they had Rayman and the guy said he didn't know but all the games should be for sale on the "26th or something".

That sounds correct. Of course, it probably IS safest to see if anyone who imported a Japanese Vita played a US game online or not.
I imagine more likely there'll be a situation where legal agreements and licensing bar a digital release, but without anything like that present there's no way around it. And even then that probably counts on Sony making an exception and not just rejecting the game outright.
Based on PS3's published WebKit source tree and Vita's user agent string, it looks like PS3 uses a newer version of WebKit than Vita.
Both support a subset of HTML5.
However, Vita web browser is clearly superior because of its touch screen. It's also slightly faster. I like it quite a bit. There are some rough edges but it's very usable.
Settings>Network>Mobile Network I think.
This is not true. I have an old Samsung P2 media player with an LCD and the whole front is plastic.
I'm not sure if the latest firmware changed things, but from past reports, the Vita will not switch to wifi unless you tell it to.

So I'm a little confused about how SEN/PSN works with PS3.
On Vita I can see:
-PS3 people playing PS3 games
-Vita people playing Vita games (except for certain games that go offline?)
-My PS3 + Vita trophies combined into 1 unified trophy list
-Other people's PS3 + Vita trophies combined into 1 unified trophy list
On PS3:
-Can't see people playing Vita
-Can't see my Vita trophies
-Can't see other people's Vita trophies
Now my question is when you get new Vita trophies, do they increase your trophy count and trophy level? If so, does your PS3 at least see THAT? So if you have 1200 trophy count and then you get 5 Vita trophies, when you check your trophy level on ps3 will it say you have 1205 trophies? Or does it not show the Vita ones and show 1200? Would test myself but I dunno any quick and easy to get Vita trophies

1. Any word on when we will have access to Apps like Netflix/Twitter/Facebook? I only really need Twitter on this thing.

I did a test the other night. And yes, your trophy count goes up. It's just a mystery what those trophies are from if you look at the list from the PS3.

I'm sure both physical and digital will have deals and price cuts, although I'm guessing physical will see bigger and more frequent price cuts on games.
I was watching the Playstation blog stream the other night and the guy said those apps would be available day one (official launch)
At least they count. That's good.

So you actually have to pay for a monthof 3G to get the game? I thought it was free with the FEB.
Hold down the power button for 20 seconds for hard reset, after that select restart from menu windows with the buttons not the touch screen

The front being plastic doesn't mean the display isn't using glass. That the P2 got docked for its imprecise touch controls might mean that. This is purely conjecture as I couldn't find a deconstruction of the device.
But Samsung has shown a polymeric LCD concept, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. But the concept I found was from from 2011 and was heralded as cool tech. But maybe it's the difference between the very small screen size and the laptop screen size they showed.
It's probably comparable to "mammals don't lay eggs". You can find exceptions to that statement. But all the actual documented exceptions to the LCD not using glass were very recent patent filings or the above mentioned concept.
Edit: I found an older patent where instead of glass substrate, plastic was used.
I'm still skeptical that Samsung had this before the 2011 reveal in a consumer product and I can't find any news for it.
Because glass is more expensive and has many other negatives. Hence the OLED craze.
That has happened to me a few times. I usually just have to hold the power button down for like 30 seconds then it either turns off or it boots into the recovery mode which you can use to just restart the system. No idea why it does it.

I assume you mean from the PS3? Store isn't up there until next week, you have to manually search for the game's title for now.
