It's not up for me to decide. Personally, I think any good defense can get through that portion fairly easily. Again though, the information that witness is going to hold about contrasting statements is going to be pure gold for the prosecution. I think that is incredibly interesting.

Let me know if you're having any trouble not being a jerk.

Sorry for coming of as a jerk. But fuck, internet arguments get your blood boiling some times.

Holy crap at what transpired here...

One question, will the Police get any reprimand for doing such a piss poor job and not looking objectively at the facts?

According to their testimonies, every officer interviewed was a part of Georgia's police force at the time.

It was going to happen, it was just a matter of when a mod would see his bullshit.

I think it took longer for Solid warrior to get banned in the "Syrian army retakes Homs; terrorists flee" thread than it did for this guy to get the hammer, which still blows my mind.

Note: Zimmerman's lawyer already said himself that stand your ground doesn't apply in his case
To think that such a situation would've actually helped Trayvon. Who am I kidding, Trayvon would be arrested so hard if he did shoot Zimmerman.

Thus, Trayvon's life was doomed the moment Zimmerman decided to chase him:

Either get shot, or rot in jail.

That's what you get, for buying snacks when watching a game with your family as a teenager.

Fuck, just remembering the whole story makes me sad again. And still not arrested, that freaking murderer.

I'm not even going into the whole motive thing or the reason why he's not arrested. Murder is murder. Police not arresting is corruption. It's clear as that.

If I had a boy who visited me to watch a game to have a great time and someone shot him while he's getting snacks, I don't think I could've held my rage for the police not arresting him. I would go crazy, in a really bad way.

Why is the georgia police force being interviewed about an incident in Sanford, Florida?

What? Why?
Sanjuro, I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic. This is probably the most blatant case of doing so...

and you've been sarcastic a couple other times, but people missed it and got a bit hostile with you, which you pointed out. Right?

I am not saying this to belittle or knock anybody's opinion or anything, I just swear that I've seen people be sarcastic and it not get picked up in this thread. I say that as an observation and not commentary on other people's opinions.

Alright, I'll just be more directly hostile then. :)

The only other time I was being sarcastic was when another poster outright told me "No, you read this" in a "discussion about "No, you heard this". The idea that the two aren't related is comical.

Why is the georgia police force being interviewed about an incident in Sanford, Florida?

Because, any officer involved with this mess would probably want to alter their statements afterward to say "I'm sorry, I'm an officer from the state of Georgia...bye!"

Good Article with some nice headshots for dumbasses like KodMos (though he's finally banned).

http://insidedateline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/25/10843593-witnesses-describe-trayvon-martins-final-moments-parents-say-he-was-headed-on-the-right-path

“It sounded young. It didn’t sound like a grown man is my point. It sounded to me like someone was in distress and it wasn’t like a crying, sobbing boo-hoo, it was a definite whine,” Mary Cutcher told Dateline NBC’s Lester Holt in an interview scheduled to air Sunday night.

Cutcher and her roommate, Selma Lamilla, say they went outside when they heard the gunshot and saw Zimmerman standing over Martin.

“We both saw him straddling the body, basically, a foot on both sides of Trayvon’s body and his hands pressed on his back,” Cutcher said.

For Martin’s mother, one of the 911 calls released by police resounds in her head. On the recording, a voice can be heard crying for help prior to the sound of a gunshot.

“There’s no question that was my baby’s voice. He was saying, ‘Help, Help me,” Fulton said through tears.

Not really similar.

Guy ran from the cops and then got into a struggle with them.

He was in the wrong, didn't deserve to die over drugs but he brought the situation on himself.

Yeah, you need to obey the police, and stop when they tell you to stop. You won't be harmed if you do. No such requirement or guarantee of safety for an unknown person chasing you in the dark.
