I am still angry/laughing over Milla as Prophet screwing over my "Hide in a creep to flee" strategy (Playing Life Stealer) 3 times by ulting soon after I got in a creep, ether killing it or doing a ton of damage. One of the times, they I don't even think they knew I was in the creep and just assumed I TPed out. Oh I yelled into the mic so much over that, at increasing levels of some emotional state.
Also, Milk Stole my Ancients, which then got me killed because I went into the enemy jungle to farm and got jumped. Damn you Milk/lack of common sense, damn you!
But then Milk bought 3 hearts, and we won. I did actually have the must kills for a while at least, so I guess I was sort of helping.

I remember when Haly was relatively unknown, now he's beating the likes of EG.Fear and Demon. He's come a long way since then.

I had a great game, but I still lost. I have NO IDEA, why my team refuses to push a certain lane, which doesn't have tower or barracks and decide to go for the one that has 2 towers. Every team I get is very defensive, and never pushes, even when all of the opposite team are dead.

Pretty much. I mean, it's all right in moderation, as jokesy jokes, but it's like when hipsters adopt something ironically. Then they do it so often that it's no longer irony... it's a way of life.

You shouldn't really push a lane with no barracks, the creep wave will push anyway. Ideally you want to get two sets of barracks down and just camp the other set, the opposing team will either have to gamble on a fight, or go back to defend, losing a tower, or the last barracks.

Why did I have to think we were gonna lose during the mid-game and get careless
I went 0/9/14 as CM once and my team won. A guy on my team told me that was a normal Crystal Maiden score. Not sure how accurate that is, but she can easily get clobbered, so no one is really surprised if she dies.

If you ask me, it's fucking annoying. Ideally there would be two separate threads, one for community/IH stuff and one for game discussion/competitive games but that's probably overkill.
Broodmother is pretty fun. You have such an easy time farming if your lane isn't too hard. As soon as you have your Soul Ring, it's just Spiderling spam and you can push towers so easily. You really need to shut her down early on I feel.
If the game isn't like 30 minutes long, 9 deaths as CM are okay. Hell, Maelk went something like 0/20 as Venomancer and his team still won. (90 minute game though) Also, CM is usually one of the first targets in team fights because of her AoE slow and because she is so squishy.

with cm tho you should get some kills during the early game by some ganks. she's pretty awesome.

Riki seemed to be doing well enough enough alone, so I asked and they agreed that I could just farm and push down towers as a bit of a joke, trying to get no kills and no deaths. My bar went down :/

It's interesting to play the newest heroes though and dominate on them and watch your bar go to near full. Happened to me on lycan and sylla.
People are mostly terrible with the new heroes

I bet the trees would taste a lot better with some salt on them.
The DoTA 2 beta doesn't seem any more beginner friendly than any of the other MOBAs out there. It's less so, if anything. I wonder if that'll change in the future.
Had I seriously suffered a psychotic break, I very much doubt I would have spelled it coherently (unless I know how to operate a spellchecker in such a state, which is unclear to me. Further observation prudent).
