Not sure really, I think that Lucas has to at least approve most stuff. He approved the Star Wars Family Guy episodes and what not. I'd imagine with there being such a cross promotion with this he must get something.
I'm going to laugh when this game outsells most of the games this board drools over.
My fav part is all the names of the moves.... "Trash Compactor" "Double Blaster" etc....
Also the disco ball coming out of the freezing chamber.
The bitter pill that we all must swallowOh, it's almost guaranteed. I think most people are expecting it to.
One word:
Why?
The bitter pill that we all must swallow
The bitter pill that we all must swallow
profit, it's how companies work

Wow, they just raped two of the coolest star wars characters.
200 people approved THIS ?
Apparently Terminal Reality worked on the game for three years. The 10 studios/200 people makes sense for a mini game collection type thing. It was probably done in a short amount of time too. They also may be counting "working on it" as teams just handing over content from other games, no reason to make another set of laser sounds.
Since it will probably sell plenty of copies (and Kinects) its money well spent as far as they're concerned.
I thought watching that piece of shit Starkiller kill Han in FUII dlc was awful. But seeing Han popping elbows and sliding...fuck.
200 people and none of them was a Star Wars fan with reasonable objections to the things they were doing?
This is why LucasArts/Microsoft didn't send out review copies of Kinect Star Wars.
Sadly this will most likely be the best part of the game.
I know its hard to imagine, but maybe this game wasn't made for the core audience, but for kids and their fathers who grew up in the starwars era.
Kids and their fathers who grew up watching Star Wars wanted to pilot an X-Wing down the Death Star trench, or fight Darth Vader with a lightsaber. I don't think they had dancing wookies in mind.I know its hard to imagine, but maybe this game wasn't made for the core audience, but for kids and their fathers who grew up in the starwars era.

yup, GAF isn't the intended audience too
so what games would you play with your son or daughter.Kids and their fathers who grew up watching Star Wars wanted to pilot an X-Wing down the Death Star trench, or fight Darth Vader with a lightsaber. I don't think they had dancing wookies in mind.
It may still sell because, hey, it's Star Wars. But I don't think it's what the fans were looking for.
danicing wookies is a small part of this game. and looks like alot of fun. are you ignoring everything else?Kids and their fathers who grew up watching Star Wars wanted to pilot an X-Wing down the Death Star trench, or fight Darth Vader with a lightsaber.
