Yeah I'm tossing up between the same ones, I've got a couple of friends I want to get into this as well. Kinda hard to decide if I should make them pay themselves though

Edit: Browsed on my phone, can't seem to do the purchase now, my phone's internet is being a bit buggy. Gives me some time to decide I guess.

They had to take it down because CC service got slammed or something. The server is rebooting now to bring the stuff back up I think

Trying to decide if I should drop money for this...Between Kiwi and Bronze pack. For those who have had the chance to play this, well, is it worth paying for?
Yeah, if you love Diablo. Its like what Diablo 2 would be like in better graphics, instead of what Diablo 3 looks like. I will say it again even if you know this already, the game and its developers have said it will never be Pay2win. Its worth supporting them.
The game has 2 acts, and a 3rd is on its way. They have alot of features planned for the game.

I had a lot of fun on the open stress test weekend, I definitely think it's worth it. Lots of builds to consider, lots of different ways to play, and once you get a bit further along, lots of ways to customise skills. I've been reading on the forums and the plans the devs have for this are rather ambitious. This might beat out Diablo 3 for me...

Certainly is, just one thing to note is that they've said while the game is in beta, if they do a big update that changes a lot, characters might be migrated to a legacy league or wiped. Apparently this happened a few updates before the stress test weekend.
That is possibly my only worry with paying for beta access. Though I do really want to support the devs of this for doing the right thing and making such a good game.
Any chance we could get a GAF community together in this game? At least have a few GAFers added as friends?

They probably will do the wipe when they add the last class/3rd act. They are also going to be adding more skills. Right now claws basically have nothing but flicker strike.
Yeah, that and auras/curses that don't require a weapon. New class should be interesting, I want to see what kind of build you'd get from a dex/int character. I know you can build it now if you wanted but I kind of prefer keeping my class to what it was intended. Flicker-strike + AoE spells? phase walk/flicker-strike minion builds... The possibilities are interesting to say the least.

Which I gave to friends and they instantly stopped playing because there was no gold currency in the game..... they thought the current currency in game was confusing and a waste of time.

That's one thing I'm worried about with a couple of my friends. People seem to hold on to the gold currency in games a little too much. Using items that actually have effects as currency is reasonably smart, and makes you think about your purchases a little I think. Also makes more sense than gold for me, because after a while gold just becomes pretty irrelevant when there is no attrition system attached to it.
Yea, never got it. Been in Beta since February so I doubt I will get it. Though I did just make my first character today lol.

I am fine with the currency so far, but I kinda get why my friends dislike it. The fact you actually have to do research to figure out what your currency is worth is kinda weird.
Matter a fact.. I havent actually used anything as currency so far other than trading gear for similar gear of my type.

Yeah, the diamond one actually looks the worst because its literally glowing so bright you can barely see its a bird. I like the gold one the best.
If they didn't chirp they would be cool.

The pets are purely cosmetic. It just runs around and follows you

Edit: Wish the store actually had something interesting to buy. I dont need a new bank slot yet and Im pretty sure I will only play like 2 characters in this game.
Actually dont think many people will buy char slots, because default limit is like 22 or 23 and You can always create new account for some build testing/etc, but stash pages are neat, i had problem with only 4, but expanding it to 7 or 8 would be probably enough for me.
They stay forever and they independent of leagues, so You get extra stash tabs in Hardcore and Default Leagues [and every other in future]
They said that they wont be wiping chars after Open Beta and all items and chars from open beta transfers to release.

Hmm that package after the supporter package is tempting. Might be able to get some friends hooked.

I caved and bought a beta pass. Such a great game. I've already got my money's worth out of it and I'm still in act 1.
