You can tell if it's the guy's real account because of his 20k followers, he just keeps renaming the same account and keeps all the followers. The fake accounts were usually new and didn't have nearly as many followers.

PS- The guy never had a 'defense force'... People just thought (myself included) that his career was over simply because he was a douchebag who sucked at his job- He didn't need the help of the ever benevolent internet mobs to watch his career crumble to nothing. Of course, nobody on this site can ever see shades of gray so anyone who believed that was immediately a part of the defense force.

Not sure if the account is real or not but he has images going back to 14th of Jan, a lot of them are personal too. If its not real someone must have gotten their hands on some pictures of him and must be pretty dedicated to making this guy look like a total cunt to keep the account updated.

It has a real history, for one. Unless this fake has been doing it for months. Additionally, the pictures are actually of Paul. It seems pretty likely that it is him.
People don't just teleport from their cars right into the convention hall, there's tons of foot traffic around the place. Plus, regardless of whether he actually is selling a bunch, he'll definitely say he is.
Unfortunately, I'm sure he'll actually do quite a brisk business if he's there... the prospect of buying/wearing an Ocean Marketing shirt at a PA con will be irresistible to ironic hipsters.
I can't imagine the guy selling a relatively tasteful T-shirt. Instead, his shirts will likely feature him all roided up and boning a supermodel on top of the dismembered corpse of Gabe or Tycho, whichever one he's angry with.
This is internet gold. If the account is fake then it's was was certainly well planned. I'm starting to feel a little bad for this guy though. I knew someone who was like this - a major major douche bag and proud of it - he had no friends at all and everyone would simply talk shit about him whenever possible. He clearly had mental problems. It's the same here. Hope he gets civilly committed before someone gets hurt.

I think Gabe and Khoo called his previous bluff by anonymously sending him a bunch of PAX photos, which he then apparently posted as "proof" of being at PAX. It'll be interesting to see whether they encouraged him to post it, or if they just sent it as a general "greetings from PAX" email.
