I think a lot of that kind of thing comes down to people not knowing or realizing the importance of basic customer service/public relations skills. Common courtesy and respect goes a long way.

Ok got the Baconing key now, i guess they ran out yesterday.

Also i hope we get to 25000 meals in the Be Mine Bundle 2, Beat Hazard sucks arse without the Beat Hazard Ultra DLC. The iOS version spoilt me.

Quite a few people appreciated the creation of this thread, it finally dealt with some of the major problems of only having individual threads for each bundle. Now people can see what bundles are currently going on, what they contain, price, when they end, and upcoming bundles. How about allowing for both to exist, this useful thread, and official threads for each of the bundles?

I like this thread very much. It's extremely useful to centralise the existence of these bundles at the very least, so I can see what's running at a glance.

We've kicked this stuff around for a while now and the current policy is that the only reason a thread title should be edited to add news is when the news is directly related to the singular topic of the thread and not suitable for its own thread.

The correct thing for new bundles is to make new threads, not to bump this one and centralize stuff. Several people commented in the Steam thread that they had no idea Be Mine #2 was on, which is really too bad. Pretty much the only reason I'd recommend posting something in this thread instead of making a new thread would be if it's a bundle that's so clearly undesirable that it wouldn't get more than 2-3 replies in its own thread.

Could we not have both new individual threads and this one for other discussion?

This one is useful if there are a lot of bundles at once (I think there were 5 or 6 at once a week or so ago), and some of the threads for them may be a few pages off the front page, or not created, so this is a good one stop place to see every bundle that's running at the moment.

I agree. I like having this thread as long as OP is updated so we know whats out there and then individual threads if the bundle needs it for discusion of that bundle.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this thread except if it cannibalizes new threads. As long as bundles are getting new threads to discuss them and make people aware, people also using this as a home base isn't a problem.

I have this one subbed, very useful. I find it easier to have bundle central that rely on the off chance I see a new thread.

So would it be best then if when the OP is updated with the new bundle info that links to those bundle threads would be added too? Since it is inevitable that there will be new threads for the big ones like Humble Bundle and Indieroyale.

Same. I hope people don't stop updating this thread, because I'm sure most people don't refresh the front page as often as policy making moderators do.

indie gala has their happy hour going on currently. What it means is if you are a first time buyer buying a gift you will get double you normally would. If you already own a bundle buying a gift you will get triple, and if you bought a bundle the first week getting gifts you will get quadruple.

I am not sure how long their happy hour has left, as they aren't doing nearly as good of a job announcing it on their twitter as they did with 2.

I'd recommend people putting down some money for Indie Gala III. I just finished playing a little of all seven games and liked every last one. None of them are great, and they all have a little jank to them, but I found them fun and pretty unique.

So whats the deal with Be Mine 2? Spend $10 get Killing Floor, comic, etc.. or are those tiered? The web site isn't very clear. Also is the comic through comixology?

it should just be the two tiers 4-9.99 for the base stuff and then 10 and up for killing floor and the other bonuses

I wonder why BeMine 2 isn't more popular. Haven't played the games yet because I'm busy with other stuff but this seems like a good bundle even if you don't pay enough to get Killing Floor.
