I've never played the second one of these, but the first one was a fun little game, and it's one of the few franchises that hasn't been beaten to death into the ground so it will be pretty fresh.

the second one is ten times better than the first. Go out and play it now.

I wonder what they will do with the Wii U controller. I kinda thought/think that pointer controls would've been better but we'll see. I hope we get more Pikmins rather than having to wait another almost 10 years for a new one. It's a series that I think would've strongly benefited from the expanded audience found on the DS/Wii.

I think Miyamoto is just tired to people asking about Pikmin 3. I wouldn't be too worried about some megaton surprises at E3. We barely know anything about the system.
