Fairy Tail 37-48 (dub)

Epic conclusion to the Tower of Heaven arc, everything animated really well and the fight scenes were great. They did well in bringing my favorite arc to life, Jellal was stunning, Gray cool, and even Natsu epic. The Fighting Festival arc was fun and sentimental there, Laxus was actually really great in this as well as Gajeel and Natsu team up. I wonder how did non manga viewers feel about
Mystogan being of similar character to Jellal
?

Fairy Tail movie Trailer

Natsu delivering the action and the strongest team, kind of excited for it. Otherwise really hope they made it flashy.

Fujiko ep.03I'm starting to get a little bored with this show. I really want my original Lupin III Italian Job style anime back.
Fortunately there's ~40 years of Lupin stuff for people who feel this way to go back to.

I'm assuming it's the thing that replaces Ozma's timeslot, just like Thermae Romae was to Black Rock Shooter.

Not the case. Ozma airs on WOWOW (a satellite TV channel that used to show a lot more anime than it does these days, unfortunately), whereas Hyouka is airing on UHF stations. There is no relation between the two series.

Hyouka is apparently taking over Mirai Nikki's timeslot on several channels and that only ended a few days ago, hence the delay - I usually use Moonphase's listings for this kind of thing but they don't seem to be correct so I can't confirm that (they seem to have the times mixed up for Tasogare Otome, Hyouka and Mouretsu Pirates, all of which air in a block on Sunday nights on Chiba TV).

It doesn't, however, necessarily follow that a late night anime will always follow another one in the schedules. AKB0048's timeslot on TV Kanagawa (the first station to air it next week) is occupied by infomercials for home exercise equipment this week, for instance!

Lupin the Third - Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna 3

That was good. Not as good as the first two episodes, but still good.

Goemon
cutting up Fujiko's clothes... Way to go, man.

I love the ED.

Lupin III: A woman named Fujiko Mine - The Girl and the Samurai.

Whilst I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous episode with Jigen, I thought episode three of Lupin was brilliant. The art was impressive as ever and I love how Fujiko and Goemon interacted with each other. In the Red Jacket series (and a few specials) Fujiko and Goemon both team up and work together on their own.
I thought it was a fitting beginning to their story with them as acquaintances and not rivals during their first meeting.

Their motives for being on the train were good and I especially enjoyed how
Goemon confessed to his target that he had been hired to kill him and took his side once he was betrayed by his "boss." I'm also glad he wasn't going around cutting people in half; I'm pleased none of the characters kill without good reason (as was made clear during the family friendly Red Jacket series.)
Goemon has always been a man of honor and it really showed in this episode, can't wait for the next!

Lupin III: A Woman named Fujiko Mine 3

I didn't enjoy this as much as 1 or 2, but I didn't dislike it. Also, Goemon
taking a look at the goods before goodbyes.
What a guy.

Also, that ending Goemon line,
completely the opposite of Jigen's notable line in Episode 2 as far as in "cool" factor goes. But thaaaat's our Goemon!

checkeredknight, in the series you've watched, does Goemon ever note that
he has cut something of worth (lol)
?

but this is no octopus but a decempus because it has 10 arms.
Oh. How did I not notice that it has ten arms? I guess I'm not a mathematician either.

This show has been weird in the past but this is just...yeah. I vastly prefer this side of the series to the serious stuff that wound up taking over at the end of the first season, although it still isn't a show I'd really recommend.

Late, but hey I was asleep.

I found all this talk about Accel World's toilets to probably be the best discussion about the show so far. Can hardly wait to see what episode 3 brings us!

50 posts per page now. 50 posts per page forever!

Everyone knows that 50 posts per page is the only truth in the universe. That's why no-one wants to be post 50, because they know that their post will be consigned to the bottom of the page.

I think the bathroom was designed as some sort of impossible to solve puzzle to be used in bizarre social experiments. How people interact with the bathroom will reflect upon their society.

I think the bathroom wasn't designed at all. Instead someone said "This shot is going to be in a bathroom with the guy by the sink. This shot will be with the guy on the toilet" and no attempt was made to match them up.

So this morning, I had a massive headache, probably sinus related or something. But then I used my iPod to listen to Eri Kitamura's sexy-as-hell voice and my headache went away.

Yep, I'm lost. ;_;

Phi Brain S2 - 02:

I really like this silly show. It's overly dramatic and crazy, but it's the sort of stupid fun that just hits all the right notes for me. :D

Fixed. ;P

Clearly, but I like to imagine that from an in-universe perspective, my suggestion is what actually happened. It's more interesting that way.

Further proof that the Toilet is not flush with the wall!

Stop it, your hurting my mind.
Let's take a look at this shot again:

Notice how the dividers for the last two stalls are significantly thinner than the first two stalls? Why? What's going on? That's not how distance perspective works either. The way depth is perceived is all wrong!

It's best never to look at anime with your eyes. You might be horrified.

Moribito suffers from the fact that no-one in the West is familiar with the novel series and some misleading marketing. I suspect that, in a country where the novels are relatively successful, most people watching the TV show would know it's more of a fantasy anthropology series dedicated to the world and its customs.

Production IG, on the other hand, produced a trailer showing off the action sequences from the first few episodes. Plus with Kamiyama coming off Stand Alone Complex at the time, I think many people expected there to be much more action than there was.

Moribito has its charms, but it's definitely not what you'd expect it to be.

Moribitio is a great show, some people just don't like it because they have no patience and demand a fight scene in every episode.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.

That's not fair.

I can like it and demand a fight scene in every episode at the same time.

Multitasking.
