She looks alright, but really not my type of character. Reminds me of a mash up of King Dedede and Olimar and I didn't like either of those characters in Brawl.

If its the Sackboy skin tho.
It'll only be the Sackboy skin when you're playing as Sackboy against Cloud and you absorb his powers a la Kirby

For Cloud you could have his Advent Children look, his Sackboy Skin, or his Playstation one polygon model ( I think this would be asweome personally).

It looks like I'll main Kratos, getting up close and personal, yet still having a bit of range is nice. What is his level 3 super?

I believe he becomes his "God" form, the one we use at the beginning of God of War II with his armor, the blade of olympus and he's slightly bigger as well.
??? The stages aren't that big. Sandover Village is like 1/3 the size of New Pork City.

I think Cloud is probably one of the top 10 most recognizable game characters. But it would also be his first appearance in a game on a HD console. So that would elevate the hype to even greater levels.

Is it wierd that the title is the main reason the game rubs me the wrong way? It just comes off as desperate. They felt the need to tell people from the TITLE that this was a Playstation mash-up game.

Well, maybe not as big but still......the stages are focused too much on the backgrounds. I want to see the action up close, like this:
It's a gameplay mechanic, you can't.
The glow is there when you fill up your Super meter. Still, it would be nice if it only glowed for a second to let you know your meter is full, then went away. I agree it's a little distracting.

Well, the camera does move dynamically like in Smash, and I'm sure there will be a variety of stage sizes. We've only seen 4 stages so far.
Your post finally showed me what is off about the graphics in this game.
PSAS looks really washed out and bland. Brawl is extremely sharp and vibrant, making it pop-out immediately and look interesting.
I hope they do a major overhaul to PSAS' graphics. The level music is also pretty boring.
And my most wished for characters in this game include Tomba, Cloud, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Spike from Ape Escape, and Sora from Kingdom Hearts. That would just make my year! xD

Selvaria really would be a great character, but I think they won't bother with many 3rd party characters unless they're really well known with large followings. Too much of a hassle to pay licensing fees and whatever for a character that won't draw in many extra customers.

What? Tomb Raider was exclusive to playstation forever, a large majority of peoples first experience with her was on the PS1. Shes a pretty significant third party character for playstations history.

TR was released on PC and saturn aswell. It was the most successful on PS1 though, I didn't even know about the saturn release until now :lol
A quick look on Wikipedia shows the games being some of the best selling on the system, with Tomb Raider 1 and 2 selling 7 and 8 million copies respectively.
yeah, Rose is great, the strongest Sony girls are Rynn (Drakan: Order of the Flame) Jennifer Tate (Primal) Nix and Kuo (Infamous 2) and Rose (Legend OF Dragoon) and Ellen (Folklore) and they all should be in the game if there is any justice at all.

Not to disagree with you, since I've always seen Tomb Raider as a PlayStation game, but the first game was also pretty big in PC back in the day.
Yeah but she is too new,other older Sony girls should be in the game first, after all this game should be about nostalgia first.
