To win? But you can win by buying a cheaper high level character that isn't hardcore. What happens when you buy the hardcore character and get your ass whipped and lose the character because you don't know how to play it.

You don't buy a level 60 hardcore character because you want to play with it.

The RMAH isn't available in Hardcore, so I suspect you can't sell HC characters.
I hope you're right. I'll be playing numbers 3, 4 and 5 for sure, though in the order of 5, 4 and 3.
Since every character of a certain class at a certain level is basically identical except for the gear equipped, I assume gear will be part of the package when selling a character?
The feel of this game is different enough that it's probably not necessary. You'd learn systems that no longer exist, and I'm not sure how helpful that would be. If you already own them though, by all means.

I do not, but all the gameplay I am seeing from DIII is making me want to get into it.
Just watch the lore videos that were posted previously. I love the hell out of those games, but the beta showed me that this game's just categorically better than those older titles just because of age. Listen to the soundtrack for Diablo 1 and 2 and watch the lore videos, but I don't think the games are worth going back to this close to D3.

Shooting for the 8th. It's possible I may end up being a day or two late, but I'm making every effort to get it done on time.
It's a game with a lot of features (even without PvP) so there's a lot to cover.
Thanks! I enjoyed making them. Going back through an old game can be tough sometimes, so I like to make it easier for people to get the whole story experience again without having to invest another 20+ hours.
The only difference would be what point in the game you are up to; e.g. Act 4 Inferno.

Yes. Essentially when you beat Normal mode, you unlock Nightmare. When you beat Nightmare, you unlock Hell. When you beat Hell, you unlock Inferno. You're always leveling up and getting more skills and better loot as you're doing this. Think of it like having 4 levels of New Game+.
Don't think there's any exclusive hardcore loot (unless it's purely cosmetic). In Diablo 2 when you beat the game on hardcore you got a different title than if you beat it on non-HC, I heard it will be the same here.
Loot earned on hardcore can't not be traded to non-HC players, and vice-versa.

I had the hardest time with the wizard, but it seems like it will grow significantly in power as you progress toward max level. My wizard gained a large power boost at level 9 (explosive bolts rune for the shock pulse skill) . Demon hunter will probably be the middle of the pack in term of popularity and I see witch doc in last.Only reason I know it was because the Arm of King Leoric was one of the best necro wands in d2

Huh? Barb rips through everything from 1-13. Did you not notice the enemies flying when you hit them?

oh no pressure, I just forgot the Gaf policy on OTs, I couldn't remember if it was one month or one week before release. Looking forward to it.
Barbarian do rip through everything, but monk is just INSANE.
Having a heal+ superior speed+big melee damage+just as good crowd control as the barbarian= over the top. I destroyed with my barb, but it was even more spectacular with my monk and the superior mobility is one of the main reason. Don't forget the extensive range of the monk melee attacks (multi hitting) as well which allow you to get monstrous chain of kill and thus constantly gain extra experience.sorijealut
