Can't stop playing Bewjeweled, 23/52 achievements already, argh! Shame it isn't universal, scales really nicely on the new iPad though at least.

I wish popcap would release a full version of bejeweled 3 and just take my money. I need that poker version in my iOS life.

I just wish popcap would get their iOS act together. They have such a huge catalog of ipad friendly titles, but they've only put a few of the games on iOS. It's practically free money for little investment, but then again, I know next to nothing about game development.

Anyone used the Heroes in Kingdom Rush effectively? They seem pretty expensive for what they do but maybe I just don't have enough experience with them. Wish I could grind for more stars so I could have both Heroes and maxed-out buildings.

I used the archer one to beat the iron version of the new level. The new level is real hard. I agree they seem too expensive. On some of the iron and heroic's you are limited to archers and mages or something and so you have the excess points but otherwise I'm not sure how or why you'd use them.

I'm with u 100%.

Where is the bookworm Adventure series or games like solitaire blitz? With the brand recognition they have, they can afford to put more titles(HD please) on the worlds most popular mobile devices.

I downloaded a few apps and movies through iTunes on my Mac. I already have them on my iPad and iPhone.

I deleted them off my Mac because I wanted to save the hard drive space. For some reason, iTunes keeps trying to re-download them to my Mac even though I have auto-download disabled in my iTunes preferences. How do I stop this? Its frigging annoying...

I can't beat that level for the life of me...I just can't figure out what towers to use...

Usually if I can I like to put troops in the middle of Mage & Artillery. I don't use archery too much, even on the challenges. That said I'm about 50-some stars in so still a ways to go.

There's two auto downloads I think - make sure both are turned off. One is for downloading purchases made on another device so you don't have to sync. The other is for downloading purchases made that are yet to rereleased or only partially downloaded.

Right guys, promo codes, can we stop now?

The way I see it is that we've got two kinds here. On one hand we've got developers who have been actively involved in the thread who want to repay the community's support and give back, and promote discussion or get feedback about their game. On the other hand, we've got people giving away random codes for no reason at all other than that they picked a ton of them up in Starbucks or wherever the hell they're coming from.

May I suggest that the first continues to happen, but the second just goes elsewhere? There is a thread for giving away PSN/XBLA/Steam codes and a thread for trading PSN/XBLA/Steam codes and I think if you have absolutely no association to the game you're giving away, it would be much better to expand those threads to include iOS giveaways than continue to spam up this thread.

Again though, I have absolutely no issues with developers giving away their own games here, it's just going way too far at this point. Over half the posts in this thread are quote to fucking reveal.

Any news on a retina update for the iPad?

Pocket RPG is still amazing... although I think I'm approaching the end of the campaign with my Dark Ranger. Looks like there are a total of 5-6 quests and then you're at the end game which sucks!

Can still go through the game again with the other classes (which I'll certainly do), but I really really wish this game was just made persistent in terms of gear and leveling and it'd be GOTY every year for me.

Controls are tight. Framerate is smooth. Loot whoring is great. Can't say enough good things about the game.

I'm just pre-getting upset that I've almost seen it all. Probably going to have spent about 5-6 hours to do the entire campaign with a character when all is said and done unless I'm not understanding how the game ends correctly.

I wish more devs would put the time in to update to Retina graphics. I understand that in terms of feature priority it shouldn't necessarily be the top of the list (not everyone gets the benefit, not enough iPad 3s sold yet, not a major reason to purchase for majority of customers, etc etc)...but at the same time I'm NOT purchasing certain games because they don't support Retina graphics. It's happened a few times already where I held back (most recently with Worms Crazy Golf).

People that have the new iPad want the visual clarity since it's the entire reason for purchasing the device, so I'm supporting developers that push Retina updates a lot more eagerly.

Not a knock against you guys or anyone who hasn't made Retina updates, I get why it's not the top priority...but I would argue that for certain consumers like myself, it IS a deciding feature that I base my purchasing on. I'll take a gamble on a Retina game that's unproven but looks good before I jump in on a proven game without Retina.

...TLDR: I selfishly want Retina updated graphics in everything I purchase even though I get why it's not a top priority.

Hmm... Lurkers are redeeming the codes without even a thank you.

Lurkers can't see the codes that are hidden behind the email tag. Unless you mean "lurkers" as in registered GAF users who aren't dropping in the thread to lay claim and give thanks.

might have to start asking for a pm. i hate seeing people reach for a code and get disappointed. if the lurkers cant post saying they took a code, im pretty sure they wont be willing to send a PM either.

I look forward to you buying everything we release from now on then :)

On a more serious note, we are trying to go back and add iPad Retina support for some of our legacy titles. Next up is Slam Dunk King which is getting a pretty big update and new content.

I looked at the description and am disappointed that it's dual stick on iOS. When I think "Diablo Clone" I think "clicking on stuff" or in this case "tapping on stuff". That's kind of why it would work so well, and I'm at my limit on virtual sticks as it is.

Yep I hate to say it because I know it's allot more work for some than other but just like when I got my IP4 no retina or universal support it's pretty much no buy :-(
