I have 3 promo codes to give away. Given they are in high demand as we have a licensing partner, only claim one if you want one.

To claim, quote this sentence, post the icon image for the game, and name a breed of dragon which appears in the How To Train Your Dragon movie that nobody above you has named.

Wow, the Dreamworks Dragons game by PikPok looks fantastic on a new iPad! Can't get over how great this looks!

Haven't done too many puzzles yet but it's very polished so far.

Hope you guys enjoy the game, it runs best on the iPad but plays on the iPhone as well.

The game is $2.99 and will feature free levels each week.
Love the art style. Super simplistic. Camera does seem to be zoomed out much.

Change your device location to Australia, boot game. Close game, change back to your time zone. Easy way to recharge your coins.
This works for most freemiums with a recharge timer of some sort.
either time zone jump or change the date, the longer the more you "earn". Many games calculate your earnings by how much time has gone by since last login using the iOS date, and once you've saved those earnings to the game server or similar you can go back in time again and keep them in most cases. Some games keep backup saves which kick in and revert some progress you make when going backwards, but it seems random and there are ways around that too.

Did I just ruin it all for you guys playing/making a living off of freemiums now?

I miss the good old days when you could unlock content by being good at the game. Instead they make the game more boring to play by forcing you to grind and grind and grind to unlock content. Or you pay them money to unlock the content.

PvZ is a "good" example of this. If the iOS version were like the PC version I would have unlocked all the content a long time ago but nooooooo, you must pay pretend money to unlock content and the pretend money takes ungodly playtime to earn.

fuck IAPS

Thanks for the heads up. My two year old loves playing the trial for this and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Gotta download it on the iPad though since my phone is almost full and it won't let my get it on there. Man, I really wish I had gone with the 64GB 4S instead of the 32. I'm at 11gb of music and the rest is games.

And I was pumped to get Hatchi when it was free and my daughter loves feeding it with me, but I went almost all day yesterday without checking on lil Zeus and he died. :(
Zeus II will not suffer the same fate!

Lane Splitter has just gone free, its a fun diversion and there's a lot of stuff in the game :)

Was all over it and then saw the over-300MB file size. Tried the lite version and enjoyed what I played, but gonna pass for now. It's not even a matter of money anymore. With my small phone, my main consideration is space. It's hard to justify one casual game of that size when there are 10 others that could take its place. Really pretty game to look at, though.

One more reason not to get the game, I guess. Didn't know that about this game.

It's a great endless game, but good God, the prices to unlock the other characters are ridiculous. You earn, on average, 20-30 coins per race, and the unlockables start at 10,000 coins. The game just isn't interesting enough to play that many times to unlock shit.

Are you using the Zen Garden correctly? Or did they change it drastically? You can make 100,000s with a dozen chocolate bars iirc. The PC version has some pretty ridiculous achievements that you probably need to grind/play for 50+ hours to unlock in full.

Great Big War Game (sequel to Great Little War Game) is in development and set for release soon. Looking forward to that one. Has a certain charm to it.

I found a video showing some gameplay and control demonstration for Infinity Blade Dungeons. This really makes me think that a Diablo type game could come out - I guess the only limitation would be file size...the IB games are awesome but short/looping and their file size is massive.

That game runs so insanely smoothly for being as high detail as it is, it's kind of nuts.

I want this game to be so good, so so badly. And to release like, yesterday.

Yeah, I'm on my fourth playthrough and have a massive amount of high dollar stuff I still need to unlock. Didn't realize Stinky the Snail collects Zen garden coins while you're away, so that's helping.

Brainsss is finally out, whoohoo!

To anybody who plays it, tell me what you think of the game, all feedback would be much appreciated.

Supported it because it's GAF-made. IAP doesn't get in the way. Didn't like the "cute" zombies aesthetic (you guys should seriously consider putting out the EXACT same game with dark music, dark art-style, and more enemy weapon types and you could hit two markets at once), but it grows on you. I've only played a few levels, so perhaps the grouping mechanic hasn't been introduced yet, but the game REALLY needs a real time sub map and a way to quick travel to different teams ala amoebattle. Your maps are pretty large, and the "press and hold" to select groups of units works after you get the hang of it (especially when you continue dragging your finger wherever to select any unit), but too often I'll tap to create a way point when i really wanted to jump to another unit group. Setting unit groups and being able to toggle between them would make this game much easier to navigate. As is, it's pretty polished and fun.

Get that money! Same game, more atmospheric and creepy, different art style, sell both to two different crowds ;)

not the biggest fan of the art style. it just looks like you used lambert shaders and occlusion. the characters and the environment don't seem very cohesive because of it.

the zombie essence gets lost in the top down look as well.

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
Alright guys! I've been on vacation for a week so please get me up to date with new releases :/ just looking a bit at appshopper, "Conquest: Medieval Realms" looks interesting, despite the lack of multiplayer. Please help me and list some of the big, notworthy and sleeper releases were since last thursday, much appreciated!

Airplay gaming doesn't actually work or feel good for anybody, does it?

What I mean is...yeah, I can get the video output to my TV and just see certain controls on my iPad, but in no way at all is it playable. The latency is very noticeable and the frame rate is poor.

Yeah I wonder what the release date will be-I was thinking Fall, but this looks pretty far along...I really want this to be good!!

Unfortunately yes. I mean in theory it sounds awesome-but then try to play Plants vs. Zombies like that-you can't. You need to look at where you're tapping. Airplay is nice for almost everything else though...

Apparently it works well with Real Racing because you use the iPad/iPhone as a steering wheel and you watch the TV.

I bought Real Racing just to try this, but even that game had latency issues with input. Slightly behind whatever you were doing so you have to pre-load actions if that makes any sense.

Wonder if going straight through HDMI would be better? I'll have to try that and see...but then I'm tethered to the TV which blows!

AirPlay is awesome for watching videos, listening to music, etc. However, at the moment the only games that make sense on it are slow paced games. Games like Real Racing 2, while they look fantastic, just don't control well enough.
