This game is sounding awesome, I hope the story doesn't suck like LoS.
It only fell apart at the end. Hopefully one of the four writers took note that fans of the older games did not like any of that shit. I've only heard people who haven't played many of the games express enjoyment to the poor twist at the end.
Yes, there are some guys like that on another forums I go. I really can't understand how can someone see that twist as good, but hey... more power for them.

Would you care to elaborate on why you found it interesting in a good way? Because I can name a number of other franchises that if they dare tried something like that, you would have people complaining endlessly, because of what it failed to do on a basic conceptual level.
Seriously, how do you fuck up Belmont vs Dracula? That's one of the most basic premises of any game ever, but you have Belmont IS Dracula. I can get that level of creativity from 14 year olds on fan websites.

It's not quite the classic barbarian stripper version of Simon I prefer, but it's still a nice design. Much better than the previous couple of iterations.

Hopefully they do better with the next two games they're making (this one and the LoS sequel), because other than story I actually enjoy the MercurySteam rendition of Castlevania.
Because it was different. Funny how the most simple things can seem so cool when actually implemented in the way LoS did.
They didn't fuck up Belmont vs Dracula, they just turned it on it's head, which was pretty clever to me. LoS felt like a prequel to the new canon they are doing with the franchise.

Hell yes. If my eyes don't decieve me, I actually saw dynamic lighting in there, just like LoS. In 3DS.
It looks like a very detailed Wii game, and I mean that with praise to the quality. The reports of it seeming similar to Dracula X Chronicles are rather solid, but the game actually looks a lot cleaner.
Awesome. Hope Konami shows a nice trailer during their Pre-E3 show later this week. Hopefully it'll put some fears to rest.

I believe Mirror of Fate and Lords of Shadow II will be firmly revealed by Konami in the next 48 hours. There were reports both will playable at E3.

So how do you respond to your rumours being bogus? Your detailed info on Mirror of Fate does not match up with the info in Nintendo Power.

As with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, sometimes when you acquire information several months to over a year ahead of when the game is ready to be shown in a public venue, be made playable, or even be ready for shipping, certain things change. I first wrote about Castlevania for 3DS back in December, 2010...quite a long time ago. When I brought it up again in December 2011 as it being one of the dual titles for Wii U and 3DS, there was new information yet again. Fast forward 5 months later and certain elements are still spot on representative of what I originally was told by my source and some things are new to me as well. Then again, in my defense, I never spilled all of the beans that I had and I can tell you that many of the new, "confirmed" details, are not new to me. I just had to and continue to have to be respectful towards my sources that provide me with information, but simultaneously try and be as accurate as possible to my site's audience and the rest of the internet alike.

Until I remembered what it really was, Pokemon Conquest had me excited. I was thinking it was a new Pokemon Stadium.
Wow just saw the latest batch of scans. Il looks amazing. Can't wait to see it in motion at E3. Potentially the first Castlevania in a long time for me, if the gameplay is there and the level design non-linear. Two games by Konami (this and MGSR) I'm interested in? What is going on? Am I back to the 80s?
