i really cant wait to play this.

I hope they dont show to much before it is released. I think uncharted 3 suffered a bit due to this.

Hey guys... Is there a high quality 1080p direct feed out there?

I downloaded the one on PSN, but it looks shitty on my 55 inch TV.

EDIT: I mean 720p ;)

I still remember the Gears 3 bug he found and Cliffy tried to "fix" it, but Jimmy had already broken the game at that point. Cliffy plaid it off pretty well though, I must say.

Indeed. Insominiac was arguably better than ND during the PS2 days. You'd be laughed at if you suggested such a thing today.

Probably around 8 hours.

I'd prefer them focus on making some really in depth encounters other than artificially lengthening it. Doing that will increase the replayability

Slower paced nature ofbthe game along with exploration elememt will hopefully make the game longer than uncharted. Im hoping for around 12-15 hours maybe even longer for slower or more patient gamer.

I don't know if it's exciting or frustrating that the PS3 games I've been most excited for since the start have still yet to be released.

It would be cool to see an inFamous 3 on PS3 though.

Did we get any details about the story of the game outside of what we already know? I've been thinking about this, and we really don't know anything. The biggest thing we know is that Joel is tasked by a (dieing?) friend to get Ellie to a certain place, right? I really hope they don't pull the "Ellie's DNA is the source for the cure" or some bullshit like that.

They've been talking about how this is the story of Joel and Ellie, and this is their journey. I would like it way more if at the end, Joel just gets Ellie to her parents, or gets her to a safe place where she could live a normal life as much as possible. I don't need the huge, epic revelation ending with the boss fight.

So I just watched The Road in anticipation, and, I think I'm traumatized. So bleak and depressing but very good. Glad TLOU has some greenery but if it has half the tone and emotion of The Road it's going to be my favourite survival game ever made.

If you like reading, get the book as well. I picked it up a couple of years ago for 5 euros while waiting for a flight and finished it before the plane landed.

Casually, I watched it a couple months before NG announced this game and I'm also glad that ND is adding some color into this game. I don't know if it would be effective to make this game as bleak and dark as The Road.

Btw.. It would be cool if ND made a cut-scene similar to "that" scene in the movie. Would make for a very tense and engaging moment. Would be too obvious though.

It's a shame we have reached a point where reading is considered unusual :p Of course I like reading books, recently bought ICO Caste in the mist because I love the game so much :D

Talking about the final scene right? Yeah it would be too obvious but it really depends on the execution. ND could pull it off successfully.

Awww yeahhh. Now we're talking! That should convince nay-sayers!

Hopefully it's Bruce or someone from ND playing it, instead of Fallon. Because I know he'll die. That is unless they put God mode on like they did with the Halo 4 demo (I'm sure he had to die somewhere in the time he played).

Hopefully they'll put the full thing online after this is over. There's no way that they're going to be given a 17 minute slot on this show.

Seriously, if anyone is going to expose The Last of Us' AI, it's Jimmy Fallon. I think he'd probably find bugs in Super Mario Bros. that no one has ever seen before.

Jimmy Fallon seems pretty wild. Even when he doesn't hold the controller, his "Chaos" Eidolon will somehow f*ck up the demo.

I wasn't expecting footage so soon. I was sure we would have to wait till Gamescom. Man Im not prepared for this much excitement but bring it on, my brain tells me to not watch and go on a media black out but my heart fucking yearns for more!

Ugh, this beautiful game that emphasizes silence and solitude. Will have Jimmy shouting through the entire thing.

I hope they release it separately so you guys can actually see it how it's suppose to be. And also, yipes... now those of us that hyped it up are put on the line. Haha, oh crap
