After an unfortunate incident with my kit lens, I picked up a replacement "all around" lens:

It's way heavier than my 18-55 was. Might even be heavier than my 70-300...

got a ton of other pickups already this month but I'll post those later. I went out to a local store today, traded in my Wii and PSP Go, and came home with all this. Gonna hit up a second local store tomorrow and pray that I find Power Stone 2
Yes I know it's HIGHLY unlikely
and a bunch of other gamecube games.

The disc you can barely see is Sonic Adventure.

It's stupidly thin..

Here's another picture to illustrate the size of it a bit better..

Got a new 3DS. This one will replace my launch unit...which will now happily be retired to the drawer. Lovin' the color. Hopefully I'll get many more over the next few years.

Got some cheap Nintendo games last night:

1206-Games3.jpg

NES - Mendel Palace - AKA the first game released by GameFreak (makers of Pokemon)
Wii - Epic Mickey - 2 for $30 @ Toys R Us, to replace the copy I sold off.
Wii - Pikmin 2 - 2 for $30 @ Toys R Us, last copy! :D
Wii - Karaoke Revolution: Glee Vol.2 - $13.71 repackage @ Target, but everything inside was new and sealed!

Got some interesting stuff at a church Rummage Sale today:
1206-Misc1.jpg

Homer Chia Head - $2
Wii - Trauma Center: New Blood - $1, picked it up for a friend
Game Boy -Balloon Kid, Wave Race & Mickey's Dangerous Chase - $1 for all 3
Game Boy Color - Stuart Little & Micro Machines V3 - $1 for both

And some more great Goodwill finds:
1206-Goodwill2.jpg

XBOX 360 console w/HDD - It most likely has a RROD (I haven't had a chance to test it yet), but for $14.99 I had to pick it up. I'm curious to see what's on the HDD as well.
Radioshack Component Selector - Perfect for my bedroom TV setup.
N64 - Sharkpad Pro 64^2 - I usually avoid generic controllers, but this one was in excellent condition with a tight analog stick so I grabbed it as a backup.

The Macbook Pro pick ups make me jealous. Then the price tag hits me and I get over it pretty quick. Glad you guys like them though! =D

Yesterday me and my lady had our 7th anniversary.

Since the Economy in our country is in bad shape lately we are still waiting for a better opportunity to get married, however, after being together for 7 great Years I decided to go a little further and got 2 Engagement rings for us.

It's in White Gold by the way.

PS: Getting those also helped me cleaning my Backlog since... well they were a little (ouch) expensive.

Total cost $6 ($1 each). I love yard sales. I've already got a PAL copy of PSO, but couldn't resist getting a NTSC copy of PSO Episode 1 and 2 at that price.

I know nothing about Legend of Dragoon, and only grabbed it as it was a 4 disc PS1 game. 2 RARE games as well.

pso ep 1&2 alone is worth $48-$50 complete not bad for a dollar

I suspected it was worth something after seeing other people post about it on here. It's missing the manual, but disc and serial and access number (no use now PSO servers are down) are present and correct.

My PAL Gamecube has the broadband adapter as well but I don't have a NTSC GC. NTSC Wii should work fine though?

Edit: Guess I should have picked up Super Mario Sunshine NTSC for $1 as well?? I have the PAL version.

I don't know if I'm mistaken, but wasn't this game price dropped to $20 last week?
Thanks a ton! After reading your post, I drove straight back to the store and they refunded me the difference. I can't believe they were just going to rip me off lol.

Oh wow I didn't know it had gone up in value so much! :O
I have a copy in my collection but I've seen a handful of other copies at resale shops over the last few years - guess I should've picked em up! :S

I know the "plus" version is even more pricey so I always keep my eye out for that one.

How were they ripping you off? You expect them to call every customer and tell them the price dropped?

Nice looking setup you got there. One of these days I will get the patience to re-do my cable management.

Yep he just inspired me to order a modular power supply and a full tower case. My mid tower case and non-modular power supply have combined to make the innards of my PC look like Medusa. I just put a 690 GTX in there, so I want to make sure my sweet baby has some space to breathe.

I guess its unreasonable to expect them to actually charge you the correct amount, or to put the customer first, or just even have the correct price updated properly.

Best Buy sucks. Crazy for someone to actually complain about it, right?

Not trying to ruin your rare PSO but they is another version for it for the GameCube call Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2 Plus which worth quite a bit more than the one you own. The plus one worth around the ebay for $55 – $130 while the one you own worth around $50 – $85. Even so, it's still a good deal you own. I have the same PSO one you own with everything for 20 dollars. It's a fun game and hope you like the game.

Aside from the reselling value you're not missing out on a huge amount, really:

"It [plus] added various quests to Offline Mode that were originally available exclusively to Online Mode, while also fixing certain bugs and exploits that could be used in the previous release, such as being able duplicate various items from one's inventory."

I can vouch for Kameo and BK:N&B, both truly excellent games - it's a shame that Rare aren't in a position to create such gems in the near future.
