I don't know if he is talking down or not, and his points generally have merit; he just comes off as a complete asshole.

If that is 'just the way he accords himself' then he has a lot to learn about substantively interacting with others; especially if they happen to be other designers.

I always thought the 2k series played better than Madden at the time. And since EA maintains exclusivity (Madden is great, don't misunderstand me) we'll never know the potential 2k could've lived up to.
