Ya cloud had darkness inside of him in KH1 but his character design in 1 is so freaking awesome.
And his sword in 1&2 is the coolest version of his buster sword. With the bandages, so freaking bad ass.

And yes sora is my most wanted character. But no chance >.<

It's actually surprising how many people want Sora. Definitely more than I expected. Which is good! Can you say Square Enix DLC pack?!

God, having Sora in this game would be a dream. He'd be perfect for it. He's one of my top three most-wanted characters, along with Mega Man (any version, just not Zero) and Lightning. His level 3 super could be Ars Arcanum, Trinity Limit, or his Final Form from Kingdom Hearts II... ah man, I need to stop thinking about this; I'm getting way too excited for no reason.

Sadly, it's true... Disney would never come through with something so awesome.

I'd love to see any of these in the game really - yeah I'm over my hate of Lightning. It's w/e, I guess if we get any FF character it's better than no FF characters at this point. Also, if Selvaria or Kat (or both, ideally) were added, I'd be jumping with fanboy glee.


actually Tidus would be better since Final Fantasy 10 is being remade
 
So I have been playing Ape Escape Million Monkeys for a little more than an hour and I must say...Can't believe this didn't get a US release. It's amazingly fun.
I was previously unfamiliar with the shock gun thing Spike uses in the PSAS videos but it plays a huge role in Million Monkeys so it makes sense that it's there. One thing I have not done yet is dual wield the stun clubs though.

There's something different about this level. I just can't put my finger on it. Is the area to the right larger than it is in the beta or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I wish the music in the Parappa level was better. It should be like this. Chop Chop Master Onion should be rapping not just grunting Kick Punch every 5 seconds. He needs the intro.

That would be my only complaint about the stage, Parappa has too many good songs for it's stage to be like it is.

I'm thinking about playing MM, is it difficult with the language barrier and all? The Story doesn't really matter much in AE games in my opinion so that wouldn't really be a problem, but learning the moves and everything.

About the level, is it maybe that the contrast is higher then usual?

That's actually just what my computer does when I export images for whatever reason. But I knew that so that's not it haha.

With Million Monkeys it took me awhile to traverse the menus, but now that I'm just playing the game I can totally get through the missions no problem.
Destroy giant mechs, and catch monkeys. Simple enough!

Cool. Oh and just fyi:

To get the dual wield weapons you have to fuse the two correct gadget chips. First go on your character's menu where you can customize your character. In one of the menu selections should be a sort of "chip fusion" (the chips you get at the end of completed missions. If you're lucky, the right combination will get you dual stunclubs.

Im starting to doubt i will be able to get his attention before the next announcements. Im going to try though.

So, Ape Escape Million Monkeys continues to entertain. Really fun. In the game you can be Specter, Pipo Apes, and all of Spike's friends. They all use the exact same tools Spike uses as far as I can tell. This is good because it means a regular Pipo Ape can be an alternate costume! (Which would explain why you don't see any of those yellow pants monkeys in his moveset)
But a Jake costume for Spike is what I'm hoping for! I'm sure people would like Specter too

And it's not because Lightning is a female. Yes, I'm biased because I'm a big fan of her character and of Final Fantasy XIII (come at me bros) in general, but she would genuinely have a more interesting move set than Cloud, and her design is just more unique in general.

And Cloud, for his part, is overrated -- maybe the whiniest RPG hero of all whiny RPG heroes. If Cloud's even a possibility, I say put Zack in instead -- after playing Crisis Core, it's clear he was the true hero of FF VII.

Also, I love you, Byronic Hero, for saying Aya needs to be in the game. Yes, she so does. :)

You're my favorite junior now.
 
And now comes the long wait for next reveals. I'm happy how the new characters look like but I wanted more info on modes, costumes, unlockables, new story mode cutscene tease ect.

With the new delay they can strech reveals and info even more :(.

Sackboy's play style is pretty different from the rest in that he pulls from a Popit menu to summon tools to aid him in a fight. For example, a fan allows him to blow anything away, but it also serves a few other purposes -- by shooting into the fan, his projectiles will travel faster, and by jumping into its wind, Sackboy himself can travel faster. He can also throw cake with his Cakeinator, and a pit of fiery coals can be placed as a level hazard. Sackboy may be cute, but he's kind of a dick!

I really love Sackboys moveset to awesome.

I agree I would much prefer Lightning over Cloud. Lightning was one of the best things about FF13 (which is why I felt cheated with XIII-2) Because like you said Cloud is just way to emo and what not now. Especially if it's Advent Children Cloud. (Also don't like that design)

Much like how a lot of people wanted orignal dante. If we get cloud, I'd want the original version. Since what we've seen though this means it wont happen, so just give me lightning instead.

The supers that turn into shooter events seem to play relatively differently. I think when we get the game opinions will evolve on which of those is preferred and for what situations. So I don't really mind the concept.
What bothers me is that the Ratchet and Clank level 3 super seemed like an easy way out. I don't think the ship is ever THAT big of a deal in the Ratchet and Clank games. So I'm just surprised they went with that. Especially since there are so many weapons in the R&C Universe that don't seem to make an appearance.
People mentioned giant Clank mech. I like that. Or maybe turning all the enemies into farm animals like many of the R&C weapons do and going from there. Or heck if you want to use the ship how about you fly it around like Jak does his level 3. A little less Landmaster a little more Arwing?

I don't mind level 3 supers that instakill either. But I have the same complaint with Spike as I do with Ratchet. I just thought they could have done something better. Maybe integrate monkeys into it somehow.

If I had to answer who I thought had the best level 3 right now, I would probably say Radec or maybe Jak?...Ratchet's and Dante's looked pretty good too.

Personally, I think the RYNO from Tools of Destruction would have been an EXCELLENT Level 3. What disappointed me about the ACIT RYNO was that it didn't have the same destructive power. In ToD, the RYNO just unleashed streams of doom that enemies just could NOT escape from.

Let's talk about how awesome Spike is! I hope he's a character like Sweet Tooth who has weaker supers but builds meter quickly. I think I like that style.

I'm glad we immediately saw Ratchet fighting Jak in his personal trailer. All the gadgets and gizmos between Ratchet, Spike, and Sackboy gave me another shot in the arm in terms of hype.

If Lightning is in, what kind of moveset would ahe have? I'm thinking how they would use the Commando, Ravager and Medic roles. It worked fine in Dissidia, but I don't see how it would work in this.

Also for her Level 3. Army of One or Odin?

Well considering how well sackboy turned out, im sure theyd figure out something.
Also i'd bet on odin since her and the character are pretty well tied together.

Commando = O. Normal attacks similar to the Dissidia Duodecim ones. The up one is a launch, similar to the Dante one.

Ravager = Square. Basic combo is Ruin, Ruin, Ruinga.

Medic = Sort of a taunt, like parappa. Gives her AP.

Level 1 is she flying straight like a thunder leaving a path of rose petals in the way.

Level 2 is Army of One.

Level 3 is she mounted on Odin.

I have a full Lightning moveset almost ready to go. Its getting hard to have time to finish it, but I hope I do it soon. :)
 
I wish Spike retained his design from the first Ape Escape; he looks hella weird in Battle Royale. His level 3 super is underwhelming too. Would've been better if he unleashed a dozen or so pipo apes that started wreaking general havoc on the stage instead.

Awesome hula hoop attack though. That brings back memories.

I hope they don't give Lightning job changing. I didn't like it at all in dissidia. Tho PSP controls allready being limited did play a part in that. There is no need for medic class or anything like that. Just give her simple sword, gun and magic moves. If she must have that mechanic then just have commando and ravager.

Lvl 3 must be Odin finisher where she shatters the TV screen lol. I know people are getting tired of insta kill supers but I think she should have one.

Well, but it's not guaranteed every single hit would actually hit right? It could be a standard forward, up attack, in which you couldn't alter the direction.
