They didn't charge me. They just put a hold on my CC for a couple of days which then disappeared. Use a credit card and not Paypal and you won't be charged now.

I'll preorder this eventually.

I got to play a little bit of it at E3, and it was a lot of fun, and just beautiful visuals. I love the world map. I've always been a fan of Level 5's games (even White Knight Chronicles), and this one looks like a more traditional JRPG. It kind of makes me want to fire up Dark Cloud 2, since I've never beat it.

I just like to preorder games closer to release. I really wish this one was hitting this year, but I understand them pushing it back to give it some breathing room.

It's a crapshoot. For my order the money on my card was put on hold but then returned to my account. For my friend the payment went all the way through. Has differed for people her on GAF as well; it's a total toss up.

I just picked up the Japanese version a while back and have put in around 5 hours or so.

Was there never an official thread for the Japanese version? I did a search but found nothing.

I preordered the Wizard Edition pretty much the same day it opened for orders. I was kinda irked at first because they put a hold on the money for about 5 days but I finally got it back after that. The only thing I'm worried about is if I happen to move before it is delivered and there's no way to change the address. =l

email/call them. there's gotta be a way to change the delivery address or else that would be retarded.

I like prints, so i don't think it's a bad reward. The steelbook would be nice, but what else could they offer?

I think the prints could be really nice but I highly doubt they are more than some cheap post cards. I really hope the next goal is better but at less than a month to go I can't see a second goal being reached.

probably need to lower those preorder numbers to make it go faster or they change the preorder to maybe... FB likes lol.

4% to go. hope to find out what next goal is.

It's a good thing that I spotted this thread, I was just google searching for where to pre-order this set yesterday and nothing came up for the US so I assumed it was an EU only special edition.

Namco needs to do something about their search engine hits if they want anyone to know this is available.

I'm so tempted to pre-order with EB, JBHiFi's deal doesn't include one of the DLC extras.
I tried ordering with Zavvi but they wanted £75 for shipping. Might wait to see if Ozgameshop has anything otherwise I'll just go ahead and pre-order with EB.

As long as they don't charge right away I should be good ;>> They only take the full amount if you pay with paypal balance? or is it through paypal in any way? I just don't like dumping my c.card number around the 'net... Blame the PSN shenanigans for that XD

Problem with Ozgameshop is that they'll use the crappiest packaging to ship their games. A few times when I ordered LE's from them they all arrived damaged due to the fact they just used cheap padded bags.

The place is good for standard edition games though, just avoid them like the plague when it comes to LE's with special packaging.

Uh, am I reading this right? Shipping to Canada is less than half the cost of shipping to US??

I'm guessing it's still coming from the US though, so as a $100 product, we are definitely going to get dinged at the border with taxes and service fee. That is... undesirable.

So the last official trailer for this was the E3 one? The Gamescom trailer I saw looked identical to the E3 showing. Pretty hyped for this tbh and I need a new trailer. Already got that Wizard Edition ordered. ;)

Ah that's a shame, thanks for the heads up. Hmm, I guess I'll just order it on the Namco site and ship it to my sister in Canada.
