Also I might have the opposite problem, but since there's fewer hot male demons to choose from [and no, Mara and Arioch do NOT count ;>>], it's more difficult to pick out favourites ^^;

BUT YEA, BACK ON TOPIC, that trailer looks... interesting. Pretty hyped for everything but the VAs, I'm gonna have to mute the voices of the inevitable English dub. I'll be honest, with a game like SMT4 that is set IN Japan, I think the JP track should stay, but for a game like DDS, where the setting was somewhere in the Digital World for the most part [lol] the English dub actually isn't so bad [I've played both versions of DDS1; Argilla's voice in Japanese is HORRIFIC D:].
I'm getting tired of the "Korra" comments too, it's like in every damn thread about SMT4 ffs :/ The ponytail is a hairstyle option in SMT 1.5 [a.k.a. IMAGINE Online], so it could go either way *shrug*

I believe that Mithra model is in Strange Journey as "Mitra". Then later in the game, it becomes "Mithras" with the lion/snake model.
Ohhh really? I didn't get far in SJ, it was kinda boring to get into ._.; This might get me a little more motivated, lol, thanks for the tip XD
Mitras is the boss of the second sector if I'm not mistaken.

My favorite is always Vishnu and will always be.
But some female demons design really wowed me, like Tiamat's redesign in Soul Hackers or Asherah's redesign in Strange Journey.

Largely anything in first person (though if I have a headache basically anything with a moving camera at all). Some are worse that others.
Lol, I was a little weirded out by the turn this thread took until I saw the video.
As for the best demon design (not hottest, since i can't recall any of the male personas actually being all that attractive), I thought Rangda in Persona 4 had an interesting design. that's the only one I can think of offhand (and my only experience with the series is watching the Endurance Run, so it is kinda limited), but I think the designs are pretty great overall.

I always like that about Shin Megami Tensei. The subject matter is heavy and dark but the more light hearted moments never feel out of place.
Yeah I hope the same artists come back for SMT and Persona 5, or at least someone as good or better.
The unique designs/art style makes fusions etc so much better.

No, usually what we get is a stupid sampler disc with the games. There have been exceptions, though. Persona (PSP) came with the full soundtrack and Persona 4 came with half of the soundtrack. In order to get the other half of the soundtrack you had to buy some very limited merchandise set thing, it was bullshit.

But I think it's kind of a shock to see Atlus book their star composer on what is supposed to be the spin-off series. Do they think P5 will be a bigger hit than SMT IV ?
Honestly, yes. Since 3, Persona has had way more mainstream appeal than the mainline SMT games.
P5 will be a bigger hit than SMTIV. It's only natural that they prioritize that project.
Wish it was the other way around and the mainline series had a larger mainstream appeal. But hey... At least we're getting more SMT so I ain't complainin'.
Also, the new track is the shit.
P5 has been confirmed to be in full development for nearly a year now. Meguro, Soejima and Hashino are all working on it full time, which is why none of them were really involved in P4G or P4U.
I do kind of wish Meguro was doing this OST though.
Meguro is very good in switching musical styles to perfectly fit the mood of a game. I'm sure this game would benefit from Meguro.
I must say however, that the track on the official site is all kinds of awesomeness, Meguro or not.
P4A isn't Meguro. It's Atsushi Kitajoh and Toshiki Konishi.
