The major hurt for us getting those types of info for COD Wii U is Microsoft. Every COD trailer end with the Xbox logo that exclusivity shit they got cock-blocks any heavy promotion of other ports so regardless how sweet some of those Wii U features are most of them will come late or we wont hear about them until the day after launch SMH

Probably. I found another picture of the demo from gamestop with kids and their playing Rayman. That is a weird choice, makes no sense as people may want to buy the console to have that experience day 1.

The deal with Microsoft and Activision ends with Black Ops 2, wasn't it rumored that Nintendo wanted to do the same deal with Activision or something?

Tomorrow I'm going back after I call my bank and figure out what's up. I used the newegg code to score a cheap pro controller and zombi U, I just need the system and Mario now and it's go time.

That was just for the video. I dont know why or how they can have miiverse for use in a store theres no use for it and I doubt they can connect the Wii U to the internet. People just want to play the games.

never heard that but having your logo exclusively at the end of every trailer of a multi-plat game is some smart business. must have been expensive but we are talking MS here

Huh..... That just seems so odd to me. Though having Rayman Legends spotlighted is a lot better then NSMBU, considering Legends needs the exposure a lot more and it makes much better use of the Gamepad. Ubisoft is going to be laughing all the way to the bank with the WiiU launch window.

Rayman Legends is so good on co-op, I'm really excited to see all your guys impressions from playing it! It was truly my biggest WiiU WOW moment, even more so then ZombiU, Pikimin 3, and NintendoLand. Can't wait to play it again!

He is raving about how smooth it all is, and how there is zero latency. Everything runs seamless and the controller screen is lag free.

everyone who wanted the white because the black would get dirty will have to wait a few months so see what those white gamepad look like at Demo Stations :shiver:

edit: to be fair we don't really know if SmartGlass has any lag when it comes out... the only thing is you have to own something else to use it

Yep, latency problems don't even cross your mind after a few seconds with the Gamepad because the technology is so well implemented. It's so good that you almost take it for granted.

So pissed Rayman was delayed and Pikmin won't show up until Q2. For me, grim launch window is grim. Hopefully TW101 isn't too far away.

Yeah I could probably survive skipping launch- but I have to have one by March. Monster Hunter, TW101, Pikmin hopefully somewhere around that time...yummy.

One month to go...it's a good thing I'll be at the Nintendo World Store in a couple days. AFAIK, Rayman is still the only demo available there, but hopefully it'll be able to hold me over until launch.

I'm hoping the October Direct will detail the OS/UI, online functions and Miiverse.

I guess maybe it's just me but I'm hoping for better than that. With the integration with Miiverse, digital downloads, messaging, voice chat, possible achievements, etc. there should be a decent amount to reveal. They may lay it out similarly, but they should still go through it in detail as far as I'm concerned. More than that ND we had pre-E3 anyway.

well I am a bit afraid to hope for better than that. I would hope it is something special that kept Nintendo hushed about it. But after reading Iwata Asks when the part about NFC came up it could very well be this is the last thing they worked on so it is not finished because Nintendo has a history of updating OS/UI during the life of a platform anyway.

Which is why I am skeptical and want to see it :( It's very true though.

could be we have seen some of the elements in miiverse and nintendo tvii going by who is working on these things NTD in Washington state since Nintendo TVii is an NOA thing... maybe that circle rotary thing is used in other channels as well

Call of Duty never "needed" something like Elite anyway. I enjoyed the shit out of Black Ops 1 before they even mentioned it for Modern Warfare 3. I don't think it's going to really hurt sales for Black Ops 2 on Wii U since most people who are going to get Elite are probably Xbox 360 owners who've made Call of Duty their religion since MW1. Guys like Elpresador could care less about Elite........The Wii U version has separate screen on GamePad local multiplayer with next to no drop in graphic quality. Not to mention the most robust control options of any Call of Duty game ever before it. I'd say it's a pretty even stand off in my opinion.

I'm not really sure if that is even the same box we are getting at retail. Those demo units could have been mass produced for those shows and in store displays
