Personally, I would love to see an OT for every new iOS release. The rest of GAF will learn to embrace it.
Also, I'm bummed that Infinity Blade Dungeons is delayed until 2013. What's the next AAA iOS game?

Who develops the Zombies games for iOS? I don't know why they couldn't have them do the Vita development for Declassified, probably would do a much better job than Nihilistic.

I'm hoping to pick up a 5g Touch next month, but those benchmarks are kinda scary. I mean, it's very slightly weaker than a 4s.
I'm hoping that it will be able to play Infinity Blade Dungeons and TWEWY alright. Is it dumb to be concerned?
I was thinking of buying a Nexus 7 but the new Touch camera is so sexy with the flash and all. I use my 4g Touch all the time for pics and I don't need to tell you guys how shitty it is. I also kinda need something small enough for my pocket.

Hey I want to ask you something-I want to try changing my save file to see if it makes a difference. Do you use iFunbox or iPhoneExplorer?
If you do, can you copy the file from your iPhone and send it to me? I want to see if I put a save file that has triggered that achievement on my phone if it will go through-I'm certain the achievement in my save file is stuck. I know I did it in the time allotted..
If you don't use those-then no worries, don't worry about. I just have a "Sneaking" suspicion that something is screwy.

Why? Most of the games in the IOS store are trash. You don't see a thread for every new console and pc release. I can see the big games getting a thread. They do already.
The 5g Touch is f-ing brilliant, and plenty powerful. I love mine to death. <3 Black slate 32GB <3 Get one; you won't regret it. I'm quite sure those games will run just fine on it. And you will not believe what an upgrade the screen is compared to 4g Touch. GORGEOUS.
Seriously. ~98% of iOS games aren't even worth downloading for free. Lots of gems lurking about, but mostly pure IAP-laden crap

Why, you ask? Because a lot of people think the same thing you do, that a lot aren't worth the time of day and I think that's completely false. There are so many hidden gems and games that get overlooked on the Appstore and I feel like if people gave them a chance they might actually like them.
I had a really weird thing with Gamecenter today while playing Zoo Keeper Battle... all of a sudden, got a shitload of achievements that I'd obviously already won come through. Was quite odd.
Haven't seen it with any other games yet, though.
Also, how good is True Skate?!? I still can't *quite* seem to come to grips with the controls, but I can see that it's not a game thing but a me thing. Every so often I pull off something and it's awesome, but I need more practice. But pulling off a mean kickflip to darkslide... oh man. So satisfying.
$2 people. Get it!
Ok, I have a BSB save sitting around here. It has all the achievements iirc, I always do a backup before I delete a game so I'm fairly sure I did it after I was done with everything back in March, including the Boom Chicka Boom cheevo. I sent you a pm with the link, hope it helps.

That iOS beat-games I've played have all been shit in comparison. I know Nintendo published EBA, but I assume INIS owns the franchise. Sure would be nice...sure would make a lot of money...]

I am SO turned on to the blue or red model. Be still my beating heart! I'm so glad they dolled up the camera and gave it a flash. I take a SHIT ton of pics. I work in the tallest building in town and every night I try to take a pic of some really gorgeous sunsets and post them to Facebook. That new camera is gonna be awesome.
Have you had any luck finding a good hard case? I have an Otterbox Defender for my 4g and the thing is like a fucking tank, but Otterbox hasn't said jack about a new model for the 5g
I'll pay good money for the biggest, bulkiest, baddest case around.
This sucks. Did you try beating the boss again normally? Maybe it's supposed to register after the credits or something, idk. Game Center is acting a bit weird here too at the moment with things not loading properly.

it's just one of those super relaxing chill out games where you wanna improve with each sesh. kinda barebones so hopefully folks buy it so we get some updates.
You can do this, just roll the finger you have on the board left and right and the board leans left and right.

there is. i simultaneously keep my index finger on the board and use it to steer while my middle finger kicks for speed. controlling your speed is a big part of the game IMO, only takes a kick or two to get enough traction for a nice trick.
then again that might be uncomfortable for some. agreed on adding more depth and scenery though.
Just like real-life where I have two feet on the board and I push with my third foot.
Talking about fingerboarding here, where you use two fingers to steer the board.

It would be nice to but I'm in a small town so no chance of an Apple store. I've been watching a ton of videos on YouTube though. I don't know why I'm concerned about game performance since I don't play many games very often these days.
I'm really excited, though. $300 is pretty steep but it serves as an MP3 player, game console, tv, and computer for me and pretty much fills my every need so it's definitely worth it.

I'm really tempted to buy one, I sold the iPhone 3GS I was using as an MP3 player to fund my iPad thinking I'd get bluetooth headphones and use the iPad for music, but I really miss having an MP3 player in my pocket. New Touch looks really awesome, but I really wish they hadn't pulled the $300 starting price. The plan now is to hope for a ~$150 sale on an old 8GB model, but I'm really conflicted between making due with a years old device or paying double the price for the new hotness.
