Ermmmmm...camp plane....wait....
Camp plane for what? Nobody goes inside the plane unless it's Domination.

So what? It's just a preorder bonus. It's not as if people paid more for it anyhow, and did it ever make a stipulation that it was going to always be in the hoppers?
No, it just said, 'Pre-order Blops 2, get a code for another map that you can play on.'
That's it.
Isn't Nuketown a map that comes with the Season pass as well? Im sure they will release it like others are saying as part of the first dlc pack as an extra "bonus"
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE
:/

Is the map pre-order exclusive? Why not just sell it individually for $3 or even $5?

You guys do know you didnt have to pre-order to get the nuketown map right?
People were lured into thinking they did though. You guys do know you didnt have to pre-order to get the nuketown map right?
If it turns up as part of a map pack, that'd be possibly one of the worst displays of userbase exploitation in gaming history surely?
Calling that they will put it in a map pack for $15
And you will need to buy the whole map pack to play nuketown in matchmaking.
Haha that would be awesome.343 should copy the layout and stick in Halo4 for free.
Well that sucks, especially when shit maps like Carrier stay in the game.
Carrier, turbine, and express are all way worse than Nuketown.

If a lot of people find it fun, don't you think it's a shitty thing for Treyarch to do then?
Exactly. I'm 10 years post college grad. Custom matches are worthless.
Superior version for everyone confirmed!
Yeah sorry I don't think that had anything to do with this.I can tell you the reason it was pulled there was a scam going on advertised on hotdeals uk site i think, cant find the link now probally been removed,
but basically the poster on the site was advising uk customers who hadnt preordered the game to contact them and say the code for nuketown was missing (Even though they weren't entitiled to it) and then they were given a code as the system ballsed up and didnt check whether it was a preorder
or something like that, so basically you have those to blame for it no doubt,
NEVERIt's a deep dark hole you get into if you start pandering to a subset of a game's community to produce content that, frankly, is abused to gain XP and is objectively bad level design for the size of games you get in Call of Duty. I'm honestly not sure if that is fun for people, to level up quicker, since I've only ever played a small amount of the original Black Ops and I didn't find it much fun in the first place.

I don't remember the source but wasn't Nuketown being considered as part of the map pack season pass for those who didn't preorder? Regardless this was a boneheaded decision on Treyarch/Activision's part that seemingly has no rational reason behind it and very much looks like bait and switching for preorders. I wasn't a fan of the map, but I did load up the game mode occasionally to fuck around while waiting for friends to finish a match.
What is this post? How is it "objectively bad" in any way, and how the fuck could you possibly "abuse" it for XP?It's a deep dark hole you get into if you start pandering to a subset of a game's community to produce content that, frankly, is abused to gain XP and is objectively bad level design for the size of games you get in Call of Duty. Are custom matches basically the same as in any other game? Or is there something particularly shitty about them in CoD?
