Same. Deus Ex was an amazing game that, I assume, sold well, but still ended up laughably cheap. I'm certainly in no hurry to play Hitman with Wii U coming out next week.

I had this problem as well. First time it's ever not shown instantly, and I hope it's not ruining my chances of getting stuff. If it appears late for everyone, then that's fine but still annoying.

It's probably a decent game, but I'm a huge Hitman fan so it would piss me off a lot. Although, my expectations are VERY low now, so it might be okay.

I still have not bought anything. £23 is too much for Hitman.

Deus Ex was almost £15 after a month, so was Kane; and Lynch, and Mini Ninjas completely bombed - so that should happen here again.

I was wut'ing when I saw that and thought I could get an extra tenner off it but then would be charged for delivery or something. Anyway, got the PS3 version.

I missed out on Hitman, because the option to buy it didn't appear right away, and I had to refresh the page. I joined the waiting list, but it said over 500 people did, so the chances of me getting it were low. However, it seems a lot of people changed their mind, as I just checked the page again, and had the option to buy it.

£22.99 is more than I was hoping for, but I decided to go for it anyway.

Ended up processing the order then cancelled it.

I'm still in the process of returning my other copy to ShopTo, so if that doesn't work out I might have ended up with two copies. Also I'm fairly confident that it will be a lower price in a few weeks' time anyway.

It's weird how so many people wanting it somehow makes me feel like my purchase is more justified. Ah psychology. :)

I think Gamestop has been updating through the day - I don't recall seeing KH DDD (for £20) when I looked this morning.

Dang it, I bought Hitman Absolution. I don't really care too much for the game, and I have a big backlog. The retailer price in Sweden is twice the price of the lightning deal though, so maybe I can sell the game at a profit on eBay if I change my mind about it... Still, it seems like a great game.

Well, as I said, I was unsure, so I checked CEX to see what they buy it in for, and they give £26 cash. I expect that to go down between now and the time the game arrives and I've played it for a bit, but it shouldn't do so by too much. In any case, if I don't enjoy it, I won't be too much out of pocket, if at all.

£23 is great for Hitman, anyone else notice that games aren't dropping in price the way they used to? Last year I was putting price notification for most games at £15 on CAG, lately I've had to raise that boundary to £20-30 because they're dropping too slowly.

Hopefully after Christmas things will start dropping faster, especially with the new consoles on the horizon.

With most games I usually have a rule to buy under £20 or better, that way I save a lot of money in the long run compared to the typical £40 game. That's like paying less than £250 instead of £500 for example.

I think that was mainly driven my supermarkets flexing their muscles in the market and trying to capture marketshare. now they have a substantial percentage, there's no reason to drop them as much as they used to or as heavily as they used to.

just bought the ninjago fire temple lego set for 50% off. Its odd because the lightning deals thumbnail only shows 30% off or something, but thats off the current amazon price which was about 30% off in the first place - RRP was £92, offer was £46

Amazon DE will be a tough decision for me if the Vita price hits my sweet spot - which I have not yet decided on...

I bought a Vita and an 8GB memory card on eBay a couple of weeks ago. I got a great price, but I'm also glad that Sony got none of that money, since they're taking the piss with the price of those memory cards.

I could use the money and it would be of course legal - but I rather have someone get it for a good price who really wants it. If I end up getting one - I either keep it or cancel the order. So far I am not yet convinced and even for a good price I don't want to end up with a console with 2-3 games I like before support gets even worse.

I just bought Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on 360. I already own it; it's a Christmas present for a friend, so he can join me playing it online.

I noticed that there are still plenty of copies left on 360 and PS3, despite it having been up for 10 minutes. If you don't already own it, get it! It's fantastic, and £17.49 is a fucking steal, seeing as it's only been out a week. Also, if you were planning on picking it up later, bear in mind that this is the limited edition, which has an extra track and character. Only the first print run of the game will be limited edition, so waiting will lose you in-game content.

Does anyone know how you can charge the Kindle Fire without socket? Because I don't think it includes a EU socket.

Can I just plug the USB cable into a phone charger?
