Oh, don't remove it. The Boltshot is great. Just needs some tweaking.

It shouldn't ever be a one shot kill without requiring far more skill or risk.
I really don't see how it needs to be removed. If people don't hit you at close enough range with a charged blast, they're done for. There's not enough bullets in the clip to kill someone and they can't charge another blast quick enough... I get abhorring the idea of a 1sk loadout weapon, but in practice it really doesn't seem to be crazy OP (haven't seen all boltshot games thus far...)

If my first Boltshot blast doesn't kill someone, I use my primary weapon to finish them off. Works most of the time.
Boltshot is cheap as hell. The primary fire needs to be boosted, the secondary fire needs to be nerfed, and it needs to be set up so you can't use it when you have less than 5 shots in the magazine.
I've raged quit so many games due to so many fucking camping bitches who literally sit around corners entire games with the boltshot, and getting one shot from it from 6-7 feet away. Fucking stupid weapon and has broken team slayer and small level objectives in Halo for me.

Hey guys, I had exactly the same problem like you guys a week or so ago, I had to delete my gamertag from my HDD and redownload it, then it worked.

Storm rifle is underrated. That thing tears shields apart terrifying quick.
Will have to try that out in a CQC build. I've only ever been on the opposite end of em, but I use them every chance I get in Spartan Ops and campaign to deal with legendary level shields. At the very least its an incredible support weapon - just have to get the rhythm down so you don't overheat.
CQC? Then it must be amazing for Regicide. Could defend yourself much better as the King. Use a loadout that lets you carry two primaries in case you need a DMR on the side.

Yep. Just have to tweak my firepower builds to replace the AR with the storm rifle and see how that goes. I usually end up dropping the AR for the storm rifle in Spartan Ops as it is.

There's no way they can do it, but Camo and PV need to be goddamn Ordinance pick ups, not AAs.

I thought you/the player doesn't need to wear the armor. Is that correct? Because I'd like to keep using the Requiem armor I unlocked via Waypoint. That is, until I unlock Master Chief's armor.

Don't suppose you have any unused pre-order code? Could trade a specializations code for some armor (not Forest).
i actually find the boltshot to be a huge POS most of the time. in most of my matches it doesnt kill with one shot no matter how close and perfectly lined up my shot is - yet i regularly get destroyed by others using it at stupid ranges.
but i have a shit internet. i'm convinced the effectiveness of the gun is inversely proportional to your lag.
as frustrating as you all think the game is with this gun being overpowered, imagine it from my shoes. its truly the only rage inducing bullshit thing about halo 4 i honestly NEED fixed.
i have other issues, but they pale in comparison and i accept the experience will never be 100% perfect for my tastes BUT THIS SHIT IS RIDICULOUS!

It is a complex subject really.
Motion sensor slows game, as stealth is only possible via slow moving.
Without the sensor, more aggressive play is required to succeed. Motion sensor helps with camping... and a bunch of other arguments.

I lost 11k, because I happened to level my first specialization. I had just mastered one of the commendations that gave me 10k, and was about 1k away from level 60 before that match. Hit level 60 with 0 points towards the next level, was pretty pissed.
I don't even know, I worked hard to get that challenge, only to be shafted. I hope frankie or someone will see it, and at least change it for future monthly challenges

That helmet looks pretty bad now. I prefer the one in Halo 4. I never liked the clunky / generic anime inspired designs of the original Halo.
Here's how I'd fix the boltshot: give it variable levels of charge, rather than either single bullet or full shotgun blast. Depending on how long you charged it for, it's use more bullets and do more damage. The one-shot kill we have now would use a full clip, and need to be charged for .2 seconds longer than it does now. Also fix the reload glitch.
