Someone said the frames drop? Not that you need 60fps for chess but still - it tries to show off how good looking it is - would like the framerate to hold too.. not desperate for a chess game but wouldn't mind...

I was the one reporting the framerate issues. I only had them the first I started it up in my first ever game. Never happened since. Not sure why it happened either. I assumed it was a location/piece combination that was more taxing than others, but so far I couldnt confirm that.
Are you unfamiliar with Binding of Isaac and it's creator Edmund McMillen?
Binding of Isaac is like a mixture of Smash TV, 2D Zelda Dungeons, and a Roguelike from a gameplay perspective. You explore levels of 'Basement' on a tile based map. Each tile holds a randomly generated room with randomly generated enemies and loot. The loot can be anywhere from keys, bombs, and hearts to items that drastically affect gameplay. There is a boss at the end of each level. As you progress through the basement, the levels get harder based on enemy and tile design. However the random items don't scale with the increased difficulty. (ex. There are some items in the game that, when combined with other items, basically break the game. You can get this combination of items in the first two levels if you're lucky.) However, certain items only drop in certain levels.
That's the basic explanation, as you get deeper into the game you unlock more items, more characters, more bosses, and more levels. It's at the same time strategic, luck, and skill based. A very addictive combination of mechanics that allows you to have two entirely different runs back to back.
It was my GOTY in 2011, and I still run Races against other people on Twitch whenever I get the chance.
The Halloween pack is the base game plus the Halloween pack for free. Make sure to pick that one (same price - 7,99) instead of only the base game. Then you can get the Battalion pack for free, so its basically 2 free packs included.
Hey guys, quick question. How do I unlink an PSN account from an PSVita 16GB Card? Will I lose my settings and those kind of things?
Also, what happens if I take the content of the card, copy to my PC, unlink my PSN Account (I think I'll probably have to format the card to do it), then link another account and copy the content back to the card?

So I'm getting ready to go on a trip and wanted to get some games installed and updated on my Vita. I have a good number of digital titles ready to go, and for my physical title, I decided on Touch My Katamari.
I put the cart in and immediately downloaded all the the DLC levels. When I finally started up the game, it told me that I would be ineligible to earn trophies? Any idea why it might do this and what I can do to fix it?

It is. Every retail game I know of except... those two racing games are.
US cart on EU account or vice versa?
You cant unlink, you can only format the card which of course deletes everything.
You can only copy content to the same account you downloaded it from. Creating account B on that memcard will not let you copy content from your PC to the memcard that belonged to account A.
There is currently no way (and I doubt there ever will be) a way to play games that do not directly belong to your account.

Sidenote: all those pictures are ingame.
Maybe there is a slight framerate drop. I haven't really noticed. But the selling point, is being able to move the point of view anywhere and lock it. i.e. you can lock it not in the dead centre, this way your king won't hide a pion in front of him.
Anyway, I would love if there was an option to create very subtle camera movements that mimics light head movements when in front of a real chess table, so you have an even better 3d perception.
I hate that they update that 12 deals of Christmas within a single blog post. How will Google Reader notify me of that Sony? Eh? :/
I don't think this is free on the EU store. Will check.

Regarding PS+, my subscription was going to expire today. I renewed for a year in my Vita, and they included all the PS+ downloads I did as a PS+ members as if they were purchased today.
So this means that this shit ton of PS+ downloads I had (I did the checkout, but didn't downloaded some of them) are now the most recent items to download, so they are way easier too find, now I don't neeed to scroll down as crazy for Vita content.
Remember that PS3 PS+ included a lot of minis and PS1 that also can be played on Vita too
Oh, no wonder! I did that on Monday and couldn't figure out why it happened.

I just bought a 90 days PS+ subscription...is there still the 3 months offered for a first subscription ?
The bonus three month deal only applies to yearly subs anyway if I remember correctly.

Pure Chess is great, but I cannot for the life of me understand why it's not cross play even if they didn't make it crossbuy. I ended up having to get the PS3 version as well as the Vita to play against my friend as she only had the PS3.
Also I think the Park theme was free for the PS3 at some point to Plus members.

Yeah, async mp shouldnt be too hard to do across the two platforms. But who knows, they still plan on adding new stuff to the game (as proper simultaneous online mp). Maybe we'll still see some other neat improvements.

At this point any Vita owner should be on PS+. There is like almost no reason not to be. I think 60% of my Vita friends are PS+, sort of makes me want to shout at the other 40%

Making steady progress on Motorstorm RC, it's a really neat game but damn that magnetic AI.
I'm only playing on normal and I find that my screen goes b+w after just a few hits. Crushing sounds like fun.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Whomever thought those fights up needs a good slapping, and whomever didn't complain about it during the focus testing also needs a slap.
I'm thinking about maybe possibly picking up the chess game. How does setting up matches go? Can I just put myself out there on Near and get someone from my friends or a random or do you have to send specific invites to the person you are going to play?

Ugh, was just about to buy Virtue's Last Reward from Zavvi for £22.46, then read that the EU/AU versions don't have English voice acting, but the US version does?
I've read that the voice acting is actually pretty good, not sure if it's worth paying almost double the price to import it though

Alright, so I was playing Unity 13 last night and left it just on standby. This morning my Vita was completely drained, had to put it on my cradle and charge up and now my Vita now hard crashes as soon as I run any game or after about 2 seconds on a games activty page.
I am running the Madblocker exploit, but weirdly enough, I can still run that just fine. I am only keeping it at this point for Kingdom Hearts BBS which looks fantastic. I checked and can run PSX games fine, tested FF1 and FF2.
When I reboot it simply says "Has encountered and issue" and if I chooose to report it spits out error C2-12828-1.
Anyone have this? Should I try updating to 2.0 and losing KH:BBS? I have PS+ but of course I spent hundreds of dollars on basically all the launch titles to justify the hardware purchase so I don't really need anything atm and I also activated the one title I didn't have on my PS3.
Not sure if it is an issue with my save date for Unit 13 or what, pretty annoying however.. I can access the Trophy Manager and Videos app, but all Vita games + Welcome Park just freeze and then the system powers off

just making it through the tutorial chapter of UC:GA. i know they need to explain every possible instance of what mechanics youll use but god damn I can see all these mini games and touchy feely gameplay getting annoying. i honestly hope theres not an abundant amount of it.
