Go ahead and ignore him, you aren't bothering him.

The guy gets styled on by top tier characters in his game, so he can be salty if he wants.

For those who missed it. The only negative with the new channel page is no archives and not having the ability to watch it on that page. So you have to go old school to watch archives for time being.

This is pretty much the whole tourney up to AE Finals. http://www.twitch.tv/capcomfighters/b/346353926

This is AE finals and so forth. http://www.twitch.tv/capcomfighters/b/346536393

Do you really think his secondary character would have had a better chance? I think that's disrespectful to both Daigo and Infiltration.

Daigo was the best Yun in the world at some point. I say he would just based on the character being more mobile and has more options against Akuma's vortex.

I'm tired.

Haunts and the crew did a great job. Go get some much needed rest.

That line can be applied to a lot things, but yeah, much respect to Daigo. I really wanted him to win as well. This makes me wonder what he will do next time they face each other. Will he finally counter pick with Yun or stick to his guns and stay with Ryu even though he seems completely outmatched by Infiltration in that match up?

I liked Daigo even more when he went back to Ryu.

Yun is bullshit :-/

Infiltration is just boring to watch and unhype. The SF4 grand final was a snoozefest. I went to sleep after Seth lost but I can only imagine the SFxT final was one of the most boring fights of the entire day.

Not surprised. A lot of money was thrown at this tournament and it was pretty big. The guy also took the thin in convincing fashion. I'll be surprised if there wasn't any salt from anywhere

Salt is good as long as you aim it at getting better instead if catty twitter posts

On that note I'm glad to see the salt/passion returned. Too many guys acting like robots when they lose a set lately. I guess they are afraid to get trolled by stream monsters or something. I don't know how Daigo can do the hype shit he did in winners final and keep his normal tuesday morning at the workplace face or Jwong losing in heartbraking manner and pop up unhook his stick drom the Xbox and walk away.

The best player won, if they are that salty they should have won themselves.

I'm talking about in general. We don't particularly prefer it when the Japanese come over and kick everyone's ass, but we accept it with a certain air of admiration and respect. I don't think Infiltration is afforded that same respect, and it's understandable why. Infiltration is like the anti Daigo. Decidedly a villain. It's an interesting dynamic from a story view.

I'm glad Infiltration is getting such a reaction from people. We need a villain and even better one that will come here for a few non-evo tournaments.

This is true, I'm not sure how or when it happened, but even before EVO I never liked the guy, and now I just want him to lose so bad. He probably is the nicest guy in the world in person, but for me, as a spectator who will never meet these people and sees them only as characters, he really does come off as the villain.

When did Infiltration become a villain? The same guy who was getting second to Poongko in Korean tournaments? The same guy who came here and placed high in tournaments but never won (Evo 2010, Revelations 2011, Seasons Beatings 2011). Same guy who used Gouken in several majors?

Is it because of the notes controversy or simply because he's been dominant all year?

This saltiness about Infiltration dominance is too funny, just Imagine if he picks up Marvel and becomes good.

This needs to happen.

Didn't Champ say after Evo that Infiltration wanted to stay at FGTV for a few weeks to learn how to play Marvel?

He's cocky, he's killed our gods, we have a natural "Hey if we're not gonna win, let's root for them" bias towards the Japanese players, etc. There are lots of reasons why people are inclined to root against him.

But yeah I'm sure that he's actually a cool dude.

Boring to watch? His demongasm during evo was pretty fucking awesome. Do you think he's "boring" because he dominates?

GAF got really exposed this weekend for the fake fighting game fans you are. Here comes Infiltration with the best Street Fighter fundamentals you've ever seen, and everybody talks about how boring it is. Infiltration is the most exciting player I've watched. I'm sorry the superfriends soap opera cast didn't take it for you guys, at least you get your twitter bullshit to entertain you.

This is why I don't usually post in the weekly threads.

He was extremely dull to watch yesterday.

Yup. He's a great player with great execution and good footsies, but he is the same thing match after match. Daigo, whether it's on purpose or naturally how he plays is far more fun to watch. Conservative when he needs to be, but at any moment putting on a show through force out of nowhere.

MOV Ken was boooosssss.

Were you guys bored when Daigo dominated him in winner's finals? 'cause yeah

I wouldn't say I was as much bored as disappointed. 6-0 in GF is a lot more of a letdown than 3-0 WF.

Best thing about Daigo is the no emotions even when he does this ridiculous shit like dashing across the stage for a throw win.

Just watched the archives. There is no way you can hate on Infiltration. That was pure high level skillled play. Seeing anyone strategically set up and execute those things to a crisp is beautiful to see.

Is it cheap? Yes. But that doesn't mean it isn't impressive and I was wowed throughout.

I guess everyone else is too tired to play more. F.Champ gonna play Marvel instead.

Damn, did I miss Alioune at the FGTV house? Fuck there being no archives, I wanted to see how dude actually holds up in matches.

Wow. I don't know that I've ever seen the FGC saltier about a guy coming over and taking everyone's lunch money.
This needs to happen.

I think people would get salty at Infiltration much the same, but it's much more dependent on his team. The tier stuff is more of an issue in Marvel because its less balanced. If he creates a Wolverine, Vergil or Morrigan-based team and wins, characters everyone is used to seeing win, we'll see more salt than if he pulls a Kusoru on us and everyone gets hype at him using lesser used characters. But now that he's quite an established name, there will be more salt than Kusoru from the get-go.

I don't know if he can though, it's more mixup based than footsies-oriented. He's gonna need to build a new skill set. Not that I doubt he can, but evertime someone else comes over here to beat us in Marvel they are usually missing that x-factor (no pun intended) which gets them bodied by the elite as well as randoms who grind Marvel exclusively.

I can see Infiltration using an X-23/Dante based team. Going for those more guaranteed kills and "doing what he has to do" to win.

What a domination on the grand final. Yeah I guess people are angry because they didn't think it would be this anti-climatic judging how Daigo beat Infil at winners. Congratz to Infil though, lol @ the half-assed Gangnam style.

This tourney left me excited. Infiltration is on the top of his game, no one can touch him across 2 games and he is decided to win.

Daigo was boss, a good return to form.

Final 3 in AE was the last 3 evo winners. Shit was crazy

SFxT Kuma Hype

And SFxT 2013 changes look fun.

Better than evo

~Devil Trigger~

In favor of setting Muslim women on fire
i did get to see the finals

but im not surprised at all that infiltration won AE. He's playing the best character in the game at the highest level.

Gouki has good options for every situation, and Infiltration displays that better than anyone.

Worse than evo because it had the least excited crowd ever and almost nobody was doing side bets.

Even though I wanted Daigo to win, I am glad that Infiltration won. He's basically saying to the world you can't handle his play and in order to stand in the same ground as him, you gotta step up your game (Daigo almost did). He's basically taking the game to a whole new level. Instead of people being salty, take it to the training room.

I think there will be some upsets next year in IPL/EVO if people take this loss to heart and work on their game and I believe the game will be better for it.

I think people who hate see Chris G's Morrigan play also hate Infiltration play. If you hate it (that's your opinion), learn to respect it, because of the amount of work that goes into it.

I don't see how you can say that. His adjustment and the reads he was making vs. Daigo were fucking sick.

I'm also surprised that so many people dislike Infiltration's performance as well but people are wishy washy with their opinions on people anyway. Daigo bodies everyone at Evo, loses two sets and he falls off somehow. Wins everything beside a few sets at Godsgarden but he's not back until he puts Infiltration in losers. But he lost the next 2 sets to him so I guess he's not back anymore. It's nice to see a dude who wasn't at the top progress over the years like Infiltration has. I like to see hard work pay off. Dude deserves it.

you can hate a playstyle but still respect the player at the same time. i love both chris g and morrigan is actually one of my fave charas, but mooridoom (and now vergil) is cringeworthy. i don't think people are really trying to downlplay infiltrations fighting game skills. it's okay to have favourites and bias as to who you want to win.

personally, i enjoyed seeing daigo back in form and was bummed he didn't manage to take it. on the sfxt side, i really had high hopes for the american players (was really hoping for tatsu top 3 at least). and honestly, i just dislike both akuma (ae) and rolento (sfxt) in their current forms.

Hell, I'd rather watch Marn than Infiltration at this point.
people don't enjoy watching marn? he puts on a good show even when he gets bodied or when fighting extremely low profile matches.
