I think it's pretty awesome so far. Probably the nicest handheld I've owned.

Games I have are:

Rayman Origins
Lumines
FIFA
LBP
DJMAX Technika
Gravity Rush
Wipeout 2048
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Pinball Arcade
Persona 4 Golden

I ended up just playing FIFA a lot on my first day though ><

Just came back from seeing The Hobbit. Better than I thought it would be. I would a proper Lord of the Rings game. It doesn't necessarily have to be for the Vita

$30 for Lumines is still a joke when you consider that the retail release has routinely been sold for $15 or less.

Will buy when it sinks to Rayman's price on PSN.

Just before I go to sleep I have to talk about this PSP hidden gem again.

Every Action RPG fan, every 3D Zelda fan should try Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure for PSP (playable on Vita and available on the US store for 15).

It's a pretty amazing game with good mix between RPG elements and 3D platforming the combat system is simple but really neat and very satisfying, it's filled with really cool and beautiful dungeons(they are open, big and very challenging with a lot of puzzles) with very interesting story and really funny dialogue from Parin and her friends.

It's easy to pick and play and yet it's not mindless game it require skills from you,the PSVita make it better to play since you can use the right stick for the camera instead of L/R like the PSP.it's on of the games that look amazing with Vita filtering and screen.

Everything sinks to that level eventually, pretty much, at least at retail.

If you want it and don't want to pay the $30, go find that $15 or less copy.

Or I can just wait. Held off this long for Rayman and I'm not any worse for wear.

Cart-free for life! Can't ever go back after the UMD backwards compatibility mess.

quick little question..when I launch the friends app i can see what my ps3 playing friends are playing.. but not my vita friends..? does this happen to you also..

You sure they are playing something? Doesn't ring a bell..could have sworn I saw people playing on my friendslist on vita.. I don't see anyone playing now but I remember seeing the vita icon and not the PS3 icon for the game to distinguish..

hmm not sure tbh - I think you may be right. Perhaps they are playing offline? :S - only recently signed in sort of thing?

lol would be strange if 15+ friends on the vita are never playing a game.. lol i can see the vita game i have launched but not other vita players.

I'd put Golden Abyss as the best. Golden Abyss stands out because it really is the first proper high-production handheld game ever made.

Persona 4 is a PS2 game. It looks like a PS2 game and plays like one. 99% of the good content is from the PS2 one.

Golden only added a new dungeon (Which is crap), two new S Links (One of which is crap), and a load of really minor changes.

It should absolutely not be placed above 'proper' Vita games.

Ugh, now I'm having trouble with the Airboat race in Gravity Rush. I was just in the middle of a good run when my friend called my cell phone and would not hang up. It was ringing all through it and completely threw me off. I felt like answering just to say F OFF!

Hmm, I'm wondering if there's a way to not mess up my vita while switching to a japanese account for the soul sacrifice demo... and what's wrong with monster hunter fans!

-- I think so - Just saw another sign on and instantly shows up as being on netflix vita. Must be for power saving on vita (doesn't update unless you use online stuff).

I guess if we're basing qualitative judgments on production values alone, you're right. Thankfully, I like to think we're above that.
