I really think cross-game saves between PS3 and Vita versions of the same games should be a standard that Sony need to force on developers (just like trophies) even when the games are not cross-buy,just make it possible to transfer your saves and get them to work between the two systems.

Reason Strangers Wrath isn't cross save is because JAW couldn't get the save file compressed enough to meet Sony regulations. They really tried...

Couldn't give you a good example, but I was playing from midnight to 2AM Eastern and still coming up with matches of 4-6 people without any wait times. I'm sure it's even more active during normal human hours.

Nariko only has one game and she's a "PlayStation All-Star" so I don't see why Ellen has been overlooked, especially when the game could use more female stars. Maybe there just wasn't as much demand for her/she isn't as widely known.

I understand, same for the most part but when the games are 99p (christmas sales), I can't resist and end up surprising myself with how much fun they can be (pick up super monkey balll 2 on mobile- I have both versions). Also JSR is cheap on Vita! It doesn't really count as iOS!
Folklore is an epic fail and is going to bomb hard on the vita just like it did on the ps3,visually the 3ds could do better.

Yeah it's not bad but definitely obvious it wasn't designed as a touchscreen or mobile game. Same with max Payne and gta 3. They've done very well to adapt the controls but the games still deserve proper controls.. Can't expect them to charge iOS prices for them on vita - feels like they are only that cheap on iOS DUE to the controls (and sale) if you know what I mean. - sorry typing on phone.
Also sonic racing transformed is a lot of fun online, and very well implemented vs and matchmaking.
Tempted to pick up Strangers Wrath even though I have the PS3 version unplayed.
It was, it's back to £30 now. Missed the sale.

That its better than what the bad reviews suggest it to be. If you can take framerate dips, and sections hovering around 20-25 FPS more often than not, its a fun game. It is AC on a handheld, and I am still a bit surprised it looks as good as it does at times, weird filter or not.

It's alright, but nothing fantastic.
Some here think it's trash, some others think it's great.
I think it's a flawed yet a full decent AC experience on handheld,the game try new ideas and win in some but fail in others, but it's better than AC3 at least.

I have the game and truth be told i don't see the potential,LBP did WAY better considering the price of the PS3 when it released and obviously 90k vs 300k.LBP recovered from 300k first NPD month to 4milions
But your post on it doesn't make sense. The gameplay isn't broken at all, it's just not that much fun. The online community, which could have potentially given it some more points, seems very dead.
The main hook just becomes too much of a slog and there aren't many rewards to be had, neither through loot or story, nor even through presentation (the levels lack a lot of detail).
I bought it on the super cheap so I'm not that mad about it but yeah, there are just too many other games that I could be playing on it (Strangers Wrath for one).
If you're willing to go used, Amazon has the AC bundle in "Very Good" condition for ~$175. That's where I purchased mine...

If you're buying it today and today only Best Buy has the wifi version with a $50 gift card. The Bestbuy website has the COD bundle with the $50 gift card as well, pretty sure it doesn't ring up in stores but you can just have them match their own website.
And Amazon is still running all the Vitas with a free copy of Zero's Escape VLR. Or you can go with that warehouse Vita that was mentioned a couple posts above.
If you love everything AC, you'll still probably enjoy AC3 to be honest. Its not the best in the series, but its also not the worst.
