That bald fuck is still around? I remember watching that with my younger cousins back in elementary school.

Hate that kid.
Yes he is. He can get annoying but my kids like it.

This is where greatly limiting tv comes in handy.

My kids are going to hate me when they are older!

If Seadderall can stay this hot, they'll win the SB. I think they may be peaking a bit early, but not too early.

Contrary to popular Steeler fan belief, this year is a rebuilding year. It's going to continue for another year or two. Outside of Ben, Timmons and Woodley, the entire team is either too old or too young.

The o-line is fine if it stays healthy. I think Starks has played great, but won't be resigned. Foster can't stay healthy, he may be resigned at a discount. Move Beachum inside to left guard and it's Adams, Beachum, Pouncey, DeCastro and Gilbert. All young and getting experience. The obvious spots that need an upgrade or replacement soon: WR, S, LB. The first pick in the 2013 draft for the Steelers should be one of those positions. I'm sure they'll all be addressed during the offseason/draft. Next year, it's Pee Pee for Marqise Lee!
We should be ok offense. The trouble spots are tight end (how much longer can Heath do this) and RB (we have no legit started next year). Otherwise the talent is there, we just need to stay healthy. I expect the Haley offense to be good next year if we stay healthy.

Defense is the problem because we have to replace so many great players. We had to replace Harrison, shore up the d-line, fine a ILB, and get a replacement for Troy. Also not sure about Woodley. He has not lived up to his contract.

Damn, the jets is a fucking embarrassing organization. I hated Tebow last year, but they tainted this dude legacy just to get headlines. Fuck the jets.

Steelers just didn't have it this year. Team had a lot of problems that just kept popping up game after game, and they hung around long enough to fuck us at the wrong time.

Even through all of it, I think we were in a good position to make the playoffs, were it not for one guy:

Ben Roethlisberger.

Ben needs to get a reality check: the team is changing, and you have to change with it.

Dude was on pace for an MVP type season until his injury. Fine. Something must have happened when he came back because he decided to say "fuck it" and go back to the backyard football that he used to run with Arians. It worked at one time, but that shit is over now. Particularly with the mass of injuries the o-line suffered. Holding onto the ball isn't going to work with this offense, and we've seen the fruit from trying.

A lot of Steeler Nation is putting the blame on Haley and frankly I think that's bullshit. The offense only works if you agree to run it and Ben clearly decided not to.

Yup. I think I will make an exception and root for the Pats against the Jets (assuming that my first wish of a meteor wiping both teams out or a tie does not happen).

Yeah he gave up on dink and dunk when it was working so well earlier this year, and it really helped out our line.

Interesting to see how he responds next year.

I am more pissed at Tomlin though to be honest, qb's make bad throws and make bad decisions but why is Tomlin still trying 50+ yard FGs at Heinz? We suck but that is just stupidity and in addition to being bag we were dumb at every level. That goes on the coach.

I hope not. Just let the Giants have their win. Play Trent if Foles cant go.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/24/nick-foles-suffers-broken-hand-vick-expected-to-start-vs-giants/

Nick Foles‘ season has come to an end.

Foles, the rookie quarterback who became the Eagles’ starter after Michael Vick suffered a concussion and then remained the Eagles’ starter even after Vick was cleared to return, has suffered a broken hand. As a result, Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed today, Foles will miss Week 17.

Although Reid didn’t say that he will definitely go back to Vick for Sunday’s season finale against the Giants, he did say that he is leaning toward starting Vick over the Eagles’ other quarterback, Trent Edwards. Sunday’s game is expected to be both Reid’s last as the Eagles’ coach and Vick’s last as the Eagles’ quarterback.

Vick starting may make the Eagles a more dangerous opponent for the Giants, who need to win on Sunday and get help in the form of the Cowboys, Bears and Vikings all losing in order to make the playoffs.

Reid said that Foles played through the entire second half of Sunday’s loss to the Redskins with the broken hand, and Reid said he was impressed with Foles’ toughness in playing well through the pain.

See I agree with this. Ben was a problem after his injury. He brought in a SB and I can sort of understand why fans tolerate all his crap. But once he stops being excellent at what he does, then he needs to fall in line

The Rooneys usually demand blood when the team misses the playoffs. Who will Tomlin have to fire this year? If Arians gets a job somewhere you know he'll call about Ben. Would you want them to listen? Are you sure Ben can ever again consistently play at his 2008-2011 level?

The 53 yard field goal with Suisham was a dumb decision. I expected that from Lewis but not from Tomlin.

Fire Reid right now if he tries to start Vick. The Eagles need to lose and hope the Radiers win to get the 3rd pick, and with Vick they can beat the Giants. Lurie cant let Reid fuck this teams draft pick up for next year. They should be resting everyone to make sure the Giants win.

I hope Vick and the Reid play you guys out of your draft spot on their last game. one final gift to philly

Fuck you man, I thought we were cool.

The Jets/Giants relationship is now eerily similar to Sox/Yanks. Complete with the Jest slandering a player/coach they're about to jettison. Shameful.

Ben was really playing well before he got hurt. Probably his best year ever.

So yes he can play at that level or even at a higher level if things break our way.

Mrbob that's the way all teams should go. Hire a defensive minded coach and you are guaranteed to find a guy who loves to kick 4th and 1 FGs from the 5. Not that all coaches don't mostly do this, but defensive coaches are far worse about it. They always think their defense can hold any lead, despite piles of evidence to the contrary

uh oh you're talking about velocity control. that talk ain't welcome here

Who the fuck you calling a defensive minded coach?

Ben was playing at a high level before the injury. I have 100 percent faith in his physical abilities, it's his ego that's out of control. I don't want Arians back, but in a way I understand why he gave Ben a long leash - better to have that than a whiny QB who thinks running Rashard Mendenhall into 10 guys on 1st down will work because he called it in no huddle.

Fuck that. I want the Giants to burn for the bedshitting they put up in Ratland.

That reminds me of his audible to a run on 3rd down. :lol

Almost as dumb as trying to kick the FG.

That makes me remember Sushi missing that chip shot.

Ugh fuck this team, this sport and everyone involved in it!

What were the terms again?

Whose teams has the most successful season and since the Patriots made it into the playoffs and the Steelers did not, you have to wear an avatar of my choice for the off season. :)

Also, I wish all of you people a happy Christmas Eve, I'm going out for dinner with the folks.

Its crazy to think Ben started the season with 5 of 8 games with 70% completion 16 and 4, his final 4 games 3 of 4 games completion 52 and kess 7 and 4

If that's the case then there's really no worries. At his best he is closer to Brady and Rodgers than to an average QB. But at times this year I felt both he and Eli looked more Flacco than Peyton. If it's just a speed bump then reload. If it's a trend then they have to worry. I thought Ben looked great early, so if he'll just adapt he should be fine

Giants defense is toast. Won't matter who is starting for Philly.

Already burning. No playoffs, two blowouts in a row with the team looking like they didn't want to be there.

The Steelers couldn't take care of their own business anyway.

If the Texans lost this week, how hard will you take it?You started to crack after the Pats beat them and its only gotten worse.

Your definition of crack and mine are on totally different spectrums. I have just come to the realization that Matt Schaub is a spineless piece of dogshit and should be traded to the Jags for Chad Henne.

The better question is: how will you react when they replace Gabbert with Tebow?

Gabbert to the Jets, Schaub to the Jags, Tebow to the Texans would be an ideal three way trade.

When the Colts win will this collapse be worse than the Buffalo loss?
