Closed the editing again for now. Wish you could make editing only available for part of the spreadsheet.

Edit: Actually you can do that, cool. The names, etc. are locked, and the leader section are editable so people can keep it updated with their changing playstyles. Tell me if this is stupid, lol. You can turn off the diagonal lines that go through the locked section by going to View -> Protected Ranges and unchecking it.

Did you have some bad edits or something?

I just want to remind would-be players that you can move any gem to any spot. This allows you to "push" the other gems around into a formation of three.

Typically if you see a gem diagonal from another gem (or close by another gem), you can move your third gem to align all three together.

Finally got it upgraded!

Playing this on my Nexus 7. Finished the tutorial and got this bad ass looking momma jamma. Addicting game even if I am still trying to figure out WTF I am doing. :)

Wish I had a big screen tablet, bet it looks amazing :(

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.

It does... I'm mainly playing on my iPhone, but it looks amazing on my Nexus 7 :( Don't think I can play on both devices the same amount though, even though the stamina system kinda asks for it...

The N7 is the perfect size I think, the art is right at the point where the high resolution knocks it out of the park, and I bet the big iPad just makes the gems look ugh and take up way too much of the screen.

Added myself into the spreadsheet, but I'm not sure that my 4* Keeper of Flame fella is going to be of much use to you guys with your uber-powerful teams.

Still largely trying to make sense of the complexities of this game, but this thread and all the tips therein have been great - thanks, folks. I'm rank 18 or something now, but still pretty much bumbling my way along, most likely wasting coins and monsters on relatively worthless power-up fusions.

How strong a team does one need to have to be a sporting chance of getting through the 'adept' level special dungeons? I've waded in there once or twice, and had my pants pulled down in a most ugly fashion.

How does this game compare to Jewel Dragon and Angel Salvation? Those 2 games are clones of Puzzles & Dragon right?

Well I just tried out Jewel Dragon, it's almost the exact same game as Puzzles & Dragons, except reskinned with lots of boobs. The gameplay and even the tutorial is exactly the same. Although I do feel Jewel Dragon is far less polished and is easier (I'm doing a basic 3-block and it's killing a lot of things in 1 hit). Also, the font kills me. Supposedly, Angel Salvation is the same way, though I have not tried it yet. I guess in the end, Puzzle & Dragons is the game to play, it being the original, more polished, and has a far greater userbase.

Added myself to the spreadsheet.

I appear to be the only one running a Dragon Rider at the moment. He was my free post tutorial rare pull, and I rather like him.

Just spent 25 stamina running the easy water dungeon trying to get blue evo material, got nothing -flipa table-

Oh boy, just had my first metal dungeon trip. The feeling when you fusion a king metal dragon to a low level god ( °o°)
So I made another two runs because, hey !

And more seriously that lead me to ask: what if in place of grinding more or less effectively...
You first grind x2 coins dungeons for the moolas
You then run several times this day metal dungeon
And you curse the evo material but that's another story

Isn't it the best way to face a majority of the game challenges ? (Majority because I imagine the endgame is vicious and the kings won't give eternally a bazillion levels)

Edit - I have several light starters and I can't feed one to another monster, normal ? Am I forced to sell it ?

Made it to Tomb of the Saint without even grinding, although my team seems to be weaksoss a bit now. Still not enough levels to equip Blue Odin, since he needs 30 team cost for him alone.

Added most of GAF members, but list gets full quite quickly ^^.

Main monsters I use are Plesios (3rd evolve), Thanatos, Machine Golem and Titan. The latter two are good fodder-ish monsters but I still hope that a pull from pal or rare machine will change that.

Where would you guys recommend me to grind (for exping the above team?) or should I just persevere and continue?

Titan is actually pretty useful due to its Resolve skill, which is a poor man's version of Viper Orochi's. Don't feed it to power-up another monster, you never know when you might need a zombie team...

Did you favorite any of them? Because that's what favoriting is designed to stop you from doing on accident.

Yep, I was just on my way to edit the stupid question.

And for what it's worth I will add that if the game is really good, the original poster is top notch too ;-)
Thread wouldn't be the same without a couple of people doing a really great work here, thank you.

I just started the game and got a rare guy on my first go. It is a Wood Mech Warrior Asgard so I decided to stick with it because I don't want to go through the tutorial again. Probably going to send out some invites to people and start grinding some levels.

Started the game yesterday, and after a few hours of rolling, I'm going with the 5* Sylph. I'm tired of the tutorial and 5* seems pretty rare enough. My ID is 395,635,299. Still not too clear on what to do with people on my friends list, but I'll start adding people soon anyway.

In game name is nyto

Present sent. Little disappointed I doubled up on the wood starter dragon. At least one of them was different.

When you add a helper to your party for a mission, you can use the leader skill of your friend's unit. You only get the active skill of random helpers.

anyone have an idea on what material is needed to evolve a Toytops?

I have one Gaffers on my list from friending without looking through this thread (lenni@GAF), but if anyone is looking for a wood type to add to their friend list, I'm running with a Fafnir right now that provides 2x Attack for Wood Ally Monsters.

WTF. I just downloaded Jewel Dragon .... It's a total rip off. I deleted it!
