these locations...

are addresses too as well right...? Physical addresses i mean, where the IP is coming from?

They're probably just some sort of estimation based on the IP. How they find them - well, I have no idea? Brute force port scans of tons of IPs? Checking known protocols? That's how I'd do it.

Doggie Prison!

I set up a webcam like that for my dog to make sure she wasn't super upset. Little did I know she made a huge racket as I left then immediately shut up and enjoyed her sleep for 8 hours.

There's a restaurant(?) in Germany where you can pizza go inside the oven.

Apparently this is a backdoor for products from a company with the slogan "Networks People Trust."

Beautiful... unethical... dangerous. This is wrong.

I have to agree with Lucius here.

I won't lie, I checked a few cams, thinking it was cool... but it's not. I haven't even seen anything "exciting" to gloat about, yet I have this nagging feeling I shouldn't have watched a single cam.

This is not cool, regardless of what you can see there.
Seriously guys, stop for a second and think about it.

I wonder how long it'll take before people start setting this up intentionally and start doing weird things for the attention. Guess it depends on how quickly it blows up.

I feel so bad for these people though.. I've found at least 3 video feeds of people just relaxing on their beds/couches. I know I'd flip shit if I hired someone to install security cameras and for them to have a video feed like this somewhere on the internet.

Isn't that a pretty standard feature on laptops with built-in webcams? My MSI laptop does it.

It's a standard feature on all webcams isn't it? Both my laptop and the external one for my desktop does it. But then again, this is like security cams and not regular webcams I think.

Yep, these mainly seem to be mounted security/surveillance cams rather than typical webcams.

Holy shit...Omegle is god damned creepy. I wouldn't let it enable my web cam but just saw the other person for a moment before it disconnected. Blech....that's just uncomfortable.

I'm pretty sure I just signed a prison sentence for myself just for clicking that.

God dammit, GAF, why do you link these sites?!
