I'm so curious about this one. I'll start it soon, I guess.

How do people get tags like you? (I don't intend to lit myself on fire)

Where does Chihaya land in your idol tier list? Just curious.

Can't we just like them all?

S: Hibiki, Chihaya/Haruka
A: Makoto/Yukiho
うっう!! (^^)/: Yayoi, Azusa, Miki, everybody else
My yuri goggles demand that the pairs stay together in tiers. Also Yayoi's exclamation is always amusing/heart-warming.
Subject to change based on how disappointed people are with me.

In an attempt to divert your attention from my tastes, I offer AnimeGAF this:

Maturity, bitches.
You'll be better off just cherishing your full membership when you get it and doing your best to avoid getting an embarrassing Gaming Side/OT tag (animegaf members like Jarmel and wsippel succumbed to this unfortunate fate recently.)
Does that make an non embarrassing tag an achievement?

*7, **,542 28,984 Sword Art Online vol.3 Limited Edition

Suck it Asuna. Akari is the better girl beginning with A!

Chihaya at S tier, and a good gif. 9/10 post.

Nevermind. I think it's a lot of backtracking at this point. Especially the part where I moved the text around with Makoto. I'll keep the text outline in mind though for future attempts.

Minami-ke Tadaima 03
That's a contingency plan I can get behind.

Uhh.

I don't know what programme your using but in Photoshop there is an option to copy the layer effects across all frames.

Also 6th place on the wall. Pretty sure that's the highest I've ever been. But at least it isn't the top five otherwise I really have to question what I was doing with my life.

A Chet away from a lifestyle change.

That might be a better idea. I was experimenting with a GIMP script that takes a layer and then pastes it onto every visible frame. Out of laziness I just promptly deleted the text layer instead of saving it elsewhere. So I would need to undo to the point where I applied the overlay instead of just reapplying the text with an outline.

Best kayos gif, Saprol. Wish I was as skilled at gif craftsmanship. My only attempt amounted in nothing, literally. It didn't work.

In photoshop you would just float a text layer over every other layer

How about for us poor GIMP/VirtualDub users? Any way to improve?

Lol, if you want to use VirtualDub, you can make subtitles with Aegisub or some other program, hardcode them on a video file with VirtualDub, and export the GIF/image sequence that way. It'd probably be a lot easier to just use GIMP or Photoshop though.

HA HA, that sounds like a ridiculous work around. I hope nobody does that.

I didn't take him seriously. Hard coded subtitles introduces unnecessary pixelization.

I have never found another better way than adding inbetween frames. It's tedious but that's why I'm wondering if there is a better way.

Yeah, sorry. It was just a joke about using Virtualdub by itself.

Although to be fair, you can resize the video in Virtualdub and add the subtitles to the resized video! That way, the subtitles are rendered at the right resolution instead of rendered at the video's original resolution and resized.

I just realized that I recognize that newly announced anime, Mushibugyo! I've actually read a few chapters of the manga a long time ago. It was okay, but nothing special. Definitely not something that I would've imagined to get an anime, unlike Tokyo Ravens or Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (it's a matter of when, not if, for Mahouka lol).

So I've been catching up on my backlog and have finally started this show.

I shouldn't like this show. It's trying too hard to be mysterious with the story, the main male character's worse than Shinji since he's a whiner AND clumsy, The CGI's bad, the art is generally bland, Daedalus became uncool once I found out he was a boy and
Seems to like getting shoved around by men
, the only thing I really like about the show is R-el.

But episode 16's great fun.

The show also manages to make the annoying little kid character not that bad unlike something like Nadia.

Everyone should watch this episode. It is awesome.
