How could you have got that from what he said? He's saying it's nothing to get too mad about that's it's not going to come out for it. It's not like, if Capcom announced it for Vita, he'd say it shouldn't have been announced at all.

Well, Vita needs big brands, and Resident Evil are one of them. There isn't a single horror game to my knowledge on the Vita, it needs horror games. Resident Evil is one of them. But no point in discussing it, the game is not coming to Vita anyway.

And I don't count Silent Hill: Book of Memories as a horror game, not the traditional form anyway.

The last 3 RE games aren't really horror games in traditional form either. What you want is Dead Space Vita.

It's really sad. I can't think of any reason why Capcom wouldn't release Revelations on Vita. I'm pretty sure it would've sold better than the Wii U version anyway, since that one's competing with PS/360.

It'll still around, but Sony will act like it doesn't exist. That's the issue with Sony, instead of addressing its issues, they'll ignore it and pretend people don't care, and maybe throw people a bone or two randomly.

It happened with 3DTV gaming, it happened with the Move, and it's slowly happening with the Vita (just look at last year's gameshows).

A price cut would help, in the short to medium term, but even the window for a price cut to change the Vita's fortune is quickly closing.

This is incompetence in its purest form though, because the vita is not a gaming accessory or a feature within a functioning device. It's a brand new platform, and for them to put their heads in the ground like ostriches while support slowly but surely moves away from it is despicable

It's been rated pretty damn good and even held up above the last couple main releases. I've played it on 3DS and it really is pretty good, especially for a portable. Sure,it wouldn't cost much to port it on there too but truth be told I'm quite happy I don't have to buy a 3DS coz this was my only reason to.If that Vita phone and tablet actually become real these Vita games would be EVERYWHERE anyways so that may provide an incentive for publishers to put their games on the Playstation OS for mobile devices.

I told myself I wouldn't buy this console after having a lacklustre experience with the PSP.

I will no longer be investing in portable Sony devices depending on the outcome of this system, which is bleak at best.

If Sony starts to fail with their console experience, I can definitely see SCE going the way of Sega (Ahh Sega, those were the days)

I'm not saying its a 10 game, but it bypassed quite a bit of the QTE just playing a movie bullshit that plagued the console releases and was a good return to classic form with surprising graphics. I loathe Metacritic but its still pulling an 8.2 score and 8.6 user rating. Far from the "God awful" and "Vita is better off not getting it" replies going on here. And I know Sony aren't in the strongest financial position to do much money hatting, but they need to do something to stay competitive.

Using their years of relationship with Capcom to try to prevent a blanket handheld exclusivity deal with their point blank competitor would be a start.

That was quite a different situation, as PS2 was doing just fine without RE4. Not saying Revelations is some kind of system seller, but it's a well known franchise skipping out on the Vita, when it needs as much big franchises as possible.
