Sony (of North America) started a referral program where people who received emails from Sony could convince friends to buy a Vita and both people would get $20 PSN money by going to a website, either a direct link or a referral code and then entering in the serial number of the Vita

Except, it requires a 10 digit number, and the Vita has 2 numbers on it - one an 11 digital model number, and one a 9 digit serial number. So people have either been taking off one digital from the 11 number code, or adding a digit to the 9 number one.

If you want to try it, you need to have someone who got the email to send you an email through the referral website (which gives you link to enter information), or go to the site and enter their referral code on this page

But I don't think you can be the person who refers people unless you get an email from Sony.

Yeah, I can't do it either, but it's telling me my email isn't valid (wtf?). I did receive the marketing email at the email address I'm trying to enter.

EDIT*** Figured it out, the email is cap-sensitive. Check the information on the email from Sony to see if they used capital letters and where.

Did that firmware update break Wake Up Club for anyone else? It worked fine before, but it forced me to update and all I get when I boot it up is a black screen now.

Ok i tried that referal program

a guy gave me his referal code
i went to the site put my serial number with zero at the end and was typing the psn id when i accidently hit enter midway. It processed and said u will receive money in 4 to 6 weeks. I thought that i just lost 20 bucks!

Again I entered the serial number but with 1 in the end and again it processed. So now i am waiting for the psn monies hope it works!

I filled out the referral thing but I didn't get any code, just an email with a link to accept the referral. If someone could PM me that'd be great.

I'm thinking about reserving the Meruru premium box. I have the regular edition reserved, but there's still some unannounced in the limited edition version. If it's exclusive DLC, I want in. I hate not feeling "complete," or at least having the option to get all the addons should I ever become rich. I don't have everything for Tales of Innocence, but I could if I wanted to, and that's the point for me.

If it ends being nothing I'll just cancel.

I recently bought a vita, have a psn account, but don't ever remember registering my console.

Can I do that and benefit or does they somehow know I have a vita already via my psn account?

Wasnt there some sort of media event last week for those two games? Sounds coop. Eager to hear more about TearAway now that they're well into development on it. Really looked good at GamesCom last year.

The Vita situation needs to get in top shape before the PS4 launches otherwise it will be slaughtered this holiday.

Optimaly both + Soul Sacrifice would be released before E3 with more new games being annouced at E3 (bend second project , whatever gravity rush author is making etc.)

I see GR2 releasing next summer,UC:GA 2,some big third party exclusive releasing this fall and Killzone+Tearway to come out around E3.

Ehh if it's 4 guys they can't do anything apart from smartphone games plus Sony owns Wipeout IP so it doesn't matter.

that is there. It will most likely go to evolution. But i have seen their vehicle handling and control in motorstorm and I am not a big fan!

I got the referral mail from Sony, but I don't live in the US, my Vita ain't from there either and I'm using a fake name and address with my US account, can I still participate in the late Ambassador program? I guess the money will be activated on the PSN account and it won't be send out physically to my fake address, right?

Hmm don't know if I should give it a try, don't wanna loose my US PSN account ;)

About Liverpool, am playing WipEout 2048 since yesterday and it's a blast! Can't imagine the PS4 without something similar from them at all!

Hello everyone!
I'm a long-time lurker and finally got the courage to post in this thread. I'm a new VitaSis just looking to join the family. I have to say the Vita is an amazing system that I sadly didn't pay any attention to until the fall when I finally played one. After that I was sold and got one on Black Friday. I'm on the look out for good deals for Dynasty Warriors Next and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to add to a collection of games I already don't have time for lol. Really looking forward to those Team Ninja games coming the spring.

If only this were true. I kinda feel we'd know about release dates if it was the case. Hot damn, do I want to play it, though!

I figure we'll get some tasty gameplay footage soon and it'll be the talk of the moment for a good while.

I have no doubt that killzone is going to be amazing!
It is sony's chance of redemption!

Lets hope sony spends at least 1/3 of the marketing money that it spent on CoD marketing!

Literally from the video:

From the web, it says it's just an app to "focus on the InviZimals fighting as a demonstration" because it's meant to be a physic game, not any kind of console game a la Eye of Judgment.


On the other hand, I still haven't given you my ID if you're interested in playing WipEout, NFS:MW, MotorStorm, LBP and most of the PS+ games: It's "ExaltedR3V3NG3", and I need some people especially for MotorStorm RC (I have plat but I need some challenge lol). Also, I'm very good at WipEout 2048 in case anyone else wants to get some challenge from me ;)
