Haha, I don't know if I'm being petty but it sounds like there is a DmC diss in there somewhere.

The thing I find refreshing and unorthodox (for now anyway) is how much information they've dropped in the first reveal. Usually we'd get some wack ass trailer with a logo and have to wait 6 months for actual info. With Cyberpunk and this, CDPR laid out their plans flat
I like the way these dudes conduct themselves
Yeah but with Cyberpunk you have to wait until 2015 for the game.
Witcher 3 is most likely this year.
Hopefully I can get a Durango/Orbis by then. It'll be a lot cheaper going the console route then getting a powerful PC!
Sorry, I like you. But massive title reading failure achieved here.Witcher 3 is most likely this year.
So any word on when exactly the CD Projekt press event will be?

Supposedly a trailer coming at 1pm Eastern Time.
Been meaning to get into the witcher. Only 2 is on consoles right? Is it weird to jump in at the sequel? Or should I youtube some plot points?
And how many hours until this time for those of outside the US?

A $500-$600 machine would probably run it just as good, if not better than the console version. Plus you'd have the assurance of free DLC.
Also zero DRM, that's a major selling point for me.
11 till 1pm
One account saying 11 hours, another one saying 5... Which is correct?
Here is the official animated recap of The Witcher's story and everything you need to know going into The Witcher 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPHgWfWFr9k

Please, I want to know more. Then to play it.
Unfortunately yeah. I have The Last Wish and Blood of Elves sitting on my desk patiently awaiting for when the others come out in English.
OH SUP TOTP
That's 5am for me damn.
The game is certainly worth playing, that's for sure! People should just do that instead, I say.i don't like that recap personally, but i guess it works for people who wanna skip the first one. it's still missing so much stuff. kinda wish they did a better recap.
I would like to get naked and wear its skin.

In time, we can do that. And it's completely okay, because its The Witcher 3
Pretty sure I need this now.
World supposedly 20% bigger than Skyrim's, says development team. [Tentative, obviously]
30-40 minutes to cross world on Horseback
Surprised some people seemed "meh" on the idea of monster hunts. To me that shit sounds like the opening for the first Witcher. If they are anything like that... holy shit. Fits perfectly into the Witcher universe.

Really love the idea of having to seek out information about the type of monster or the story behind it, and preparing towards that. Much better than "Hey this monster needs killing" and just going to do it.
In terms of combat, I hope they don't make it so roll intensive. Swordplay should be a more back and forth/parry counter feel which is what I thought they were aiming for...
Geralt now does a pivot move "that retains its defensive utility without game-breaking mobility". So no more dodge-roll.
THIS IS EXACTLY HOW witchers fight in books and dodge=roll was always bad. They fixed it OMG
what's a pivot move? more like he actually blocks?
