The giveth is to the PS3 and 360.

That's the same hand taking away from WiiU though. Maybe the other hand is, well... you know... Al Bundy style.

Read that as pagedicks. Both apply.

If he had added "360/PS3" to WiiU in his tweet then it wouldn't have been so bad.

Exactly. This is more PS360 news than it is WiiU news, yet he chose to troll WiiU fans rather than stress the positive side for PS360 fans.

So no one is bringing up the point that people will be playing GTA5 in September?

Ubi Soft is pretty dumb. I was going to buy this game day 1 on wii u, but now i won't buy it till next year at best. I think a lot of games I'm going to want are coming around September, plus the new xbox and ps4. Yikes.

Rayman's gonna sell like shit now.

It would have done better being released on Wii U end of this month and on the other consoles in September.

I'll just forget about Rayman now.

Nintendo release some games.

When a family comes to visit a loved one at the hospital, what do you think their most natural reaction is when the doctor says "I'm sorry, he's gone"?

... home, because he's totally cured! Sorry you wasted your time coming in here! That's what I meant!

The Literal Doctor from Arrested Development lol.

The Literal Doctor: He's going to be all right.
Lindsay Funke: Finally some good news from this guy.
George Michael Bluth: There's no other way to take that.
The Literal Doctor: That's a great attitude. I got to tell you, if I was getting this news, I don't know that I'd take it this well.
Lucille: But you said he was all right.
The Literal Doctor: Yes, he's lost his left hand. So he's going to be "all right."
Lucille: [Jumping on the doctor] You son of a bitch. I hate this doctor.
Lindsay Funke: How do we keep getting this guy?
Michael: Mom, he's a very literal man

Edit: what the hell! Exact same clip lol!

My aunt & uncle run a Mom & Pop store, "The Gamecube Hut", and sold 80k WiiU within minutes of opening.

I have some bad news and interesting news, which do you want to hear first?
Errr... How about we start with the bad news, Doc.

I'm very sorry but you have contracted negagameus excluwiiuvius, a bacterial disease that attacks your body's ability to produce testosterone, sapping your ability to compete.
And the good news?
Doctor RichIGN said:
Intersting. I said interesting.
Ok, go ahead...
Doctor RichIGN said:
Oh! Negagameus excluwiiuvius is very rare and very exotic.  You are the first documented case in over 75 years!  Modern medicine doesn't have a clue how to treat it.

Can it really be called bad news if more consoles are getting access to the game? I know there's a delay, but it's beneficial to other platforms.

Then you announce that as news for THOSE platforms.

It's still bad news for those of us that wanted to play it in a few weeks, not in half a year from now. In no way is that good news.

That is incredibly unprofessional, imagine a reporterin any other area trying to pull off an stunt like this one, he or she would be bashed and ridiculed to death.

But well, games journalism, we know how low it can be.

This. His twitter is apparently absolutely blowing up with hate messages, and I have to say, he deserves it.

A reporter in any other area pulling a stunt like this may not just be ridiculed... they may get fired.

Thanks for the format fix, ozfunghi. My iPhone is not cooperating right now.

LOL at the way this whole thing went down.

Is there any gaming media that has NOT trolled Nintendo at some point now?

I can't tell who's seriously upset by this and who's just pretending. Maybe it's better off that way.

I'm not upset at all, and Rayman is one of the two games I bought a Wii U for.

What I wonder, though, is why many in the industry seems to absolutely loathe Nintendo. I don't get it. Are they hard to work with when it comes to interviews?

Now that was a good one TBH.

When I knew something before anyone else, why wouldn't I put some fun in it?? Either way he didn't lies about the "interesting" part, right?

Yeah, it seemed like it was only a matter of time. Wonder if they're gonna add stuff to the 360/PS3 since it won't have the Wii U touch controls.
