As it he's somehow being disingenuous about not fully divulging his opinions before the embargo date.

Even if he somehow survived that, a nuclear blast shortly thereafter would mean instant death. After dragging him down to infest him with a face hugger, instead the aliens decided to bring him back to the colony living area, and the radiation fallout didn't kill him assuming the processing/atmosphere plant that went nuclear is far enough away to not instantly vaporize him?

As an Aliens lover myself, I'm really looking forward to wielding that M41A pulse rifle and going on a bug hunt with a few buddies. Judging by the trailers I think they've done a fantastic job conveying the atmosphere and aside from the music the sound effects are eerily close to the movies. All their hard work went into the little details to make ACM authentic and believable. Make no mistake, ACM isn't about making grand statements or revolutionizing FPSs, we won't see crazy, mind boggling weapons or post apocalyptic/fantasy settings or universes. This is Aliens, and the game is bound to the cannon in the strictest sense so as to make it the most immersive experience possible while introducing new aspects that don't alienate the player. It's definitely one for the fans as PS360 already have a plethora of shooters and I'm afraid it'll be lost and forgotten in time which is why I'm glad it's coming to Wiiu where games are far and few im between right now. As far as I can tell they are doing the best they can in weaving a story in the aftermath of the Aliens to A3 transition. Not an easy task. It may have been better to avoid Hadley's, or LV426 altogether and place the Alien horde at Gate Way Station or some other locales we haven't fully explored via some creative scenarios. I still think that overall this might possibly be one of the better game to movie tie ins and ill be picking this up for Wiiu ASAP. Just my limited opinions based on what little I get from the footage

I'm as big of an alien fanboy as they come and I don't believe I'll be buying it at launch. I was seriously burnt with AvP, I can't take another mediocre aliens game.

Ya I'm preordered as well, but for $36 for PC as well. I figured it may take several months to hit that price and its a decent price for my favorite universe. Even if the game is terrible as shit..
I'm hoping its a mediocre ultimate badass sim.

Meh, they're good, but that's so... you know... at the risk of going all hipster... cliched. I do like how each Alien Soundtrack has it's own identity and fits the theme of the movie perfectly. Whereas ever John Williams piece is interchangable and could work with any Speilberg movie. Having said that Aliens soundtrack is basically Star Trek 2 & 3 OST.

There are still taxis driving around Seattle with Aliens: Colonial Marines ads on top of them (from PAX over the summer).
Nothing great, not bad looking either I guess.
Based on that , solid 7 game? hard to tell from such a small sample though. xeno animations look a bit off

Even though it sounds ridiculous, if I were one of the ALIENS fans really looking forward to this game I'd be fairly pissed that this potential 'surprise' was spoiled.
